Overall, the story isn't actually that long, since a good chunk of it is the standard jumping through worlds to collect Lux. It'd prob be 45min-1hour, depending on what they want to animate.

The Master of Masters is such a crazy role to play, he can go from joking and fun to dead serious in a split second and I feel like Ray Chase nails it perfectly. That's one of the main reasons why MoM is my favourite character in the series right now; the voice acting is so spot on and it's really ominous in my opinion how you can never tell if he's just joking around or if every single action he takes is all part of some grand plan that he has. MoM's theme is incredible as well, it fits his character perfectly. All of this is just to say that I am really intrigued as to how this character is going to play out in the story and I'm curious as to how he fights considering he's probably the strongest Keyblade Master in the entire series so far. I won't be surprised if there's a boss fight with him in the next Sora game.

I don't know, but after 10+ years of being a fan, I still love the series to pieces... it's just that after seeing so much bad faith criticisms from people who just want to mock the series. You're right! The No-Name is Xehanort's Keyblade in Birth By Sleep. There's also a way for Terra, Aqua, and Ventus to acquire and use it be defeating a secret boss... But, even though I have tried fighting that boss a few times with each of the three different characters... I have not yet been able to defeat it.

If I add something. X Back Cover, the film you just watched, is a companion to the mobile game, telling a few of the events from the Fortellers' point of view. There is SOOO much more the Mobile game's story that isn't revealed here. But the Mobile game has ended its online service after Kingdom Hearts 3 was released. Damo279, another Kingdom Hearts count creator, compiled and edited cutscenes (with scenes from this movie), to craft a complete experience of the Mobile Game's story. It's roughly 7 hours long, but it is about as compact as it can be. After KH3, I highly recommend checking it out. It'll answer some of your questions while giving you new questions to ponder (as is usual for Nomura).

I absolutely recommend checking out the story of the entire Chi saga. Chi was the original story that runs parallel to this movie. Unchained Chi is a sequel/remake hybrid that’s hard to explain without spoilers. Union Cross is the second half of Unchained Chi. It is probably one of the most intriguing stories in all of gaming, and it’s only held back by its presentation as a mobile game. I really hope they remake it somehow.

Master of masters (or mom) is the most refreshing kh character in a while..but he's absolutely terrifying! It's like he's from a completely different, darker series, just funny to think he's going to meet Sora...Also, I suggest watching the original kingdom hearts chi/unchained scenes from the phone game (there's a playlist on youtube) because that plot is different from this and there's important stuff there...probably.

Back Cover is so strange. It's like, "here's everything you need to know about Union X" and then introduces 95% new information, making sure to show Ephemer for the two seconds he's in KH3. It's a shame because KHUX is really cool, but at the time this came out it had about 2 years left in it. I'd recommend a recap if you never looked into it.

I really really really recommend that you watch union cross cutscenes, back cover is a complement to union cross, not its summary (I believe because union cross ended recently so they didn't do a summary yet) there's a lot of important lore in it, that you'll want to have for khIII Anyway, great videos your kingdom hearts reactions are a delight
