I love how MoM answers Luxu’s question about his keyblade having a name by casually saying that it doesn’t have one (“Actually, no name.”) and Luxu wholeheartedly believes that “No Name” IS its name. Overall, the story isn't actually that long, since a good chunk of it is the standard jumping through worlds to collect Lux. It'd prob be 45min-1hour, depending on what they want to animate.

The Master of Masters is such a crazy role to play, he can go from joking and fun to dead serious in a split second and I feel like Ray Chase nails it perfectly. That's one of the main reasons why MoM is my favourite character in the series right now; the voice acting is so spot on and it's really ominous in my opinion how you can never tell if he's just joking around or if every single action he takes is all part of some grand plan that he has. MoM's theme is incredible as well, it fits his character perfectly. All of this is just to say that I am really intrigued as to how this character is going to play out in the story and I'm curious as to how he fights considering he's probably the strongest Keyblade Master in the entire series so far. I won't be surprised if there's a boss fight with him in the next Sora game.

I don't know, but after 10+ years of being a fan, I still love the series to pieces... it's just that after seeing so much bad faith criticisms from people who just want to mock the series. You're right! The No-Name is Xehanort's Keyblade in Birth By Sleep. There's also a way for Terra, Aqua, and Ventus to acquire and use it be defeating a secret boss... But, even though I have tried fighting that boss a few times with each of the three different characters... I have not yet been able to defeat it.

If I add something. X Back Cover, the film you just watched, is a companion to the mobile game, telling a few of the events from the Fortellers' point of view. There is SOOO much more the Mobile game's story that isn't revealed here. But the Mobile game has ended its online service after Kingdom Hearts 3 was released. Damo279, another Kingdom Hearts count creator, compiled and edited cutscenes (with scenes from this movie), to craft a complete experience of the Mobile Game's story. It's roughly 7 hours long, but it is about as compact as it can be. After KH3, I highly recommend checking it out. It'll answer some of your questions while giving you new questions to ponder (as is usual for Nomura).

What was fun about the ‘traitor’ is that everyone of MoMs apprentices could fall under that title due to their actions and by not divulging their roles to each other however when it’s first revealed there is a traitor at that point there wasn’t one…the traitor was created due to the actions that MoM orchestrated. Many still think that Luxu is the traitor because in KHUX MoM calls him ‘Luxu the traitor’ however while Luxu betrayed many people throughout the entire storyline of KH (Terra, Ansem, the Organisation, Xehanort etc) which would make that title very true for him he never actually betrayed the Foretellers or the role MoM gave him. If you go back to Gula’s chapter he and MoM confirm that the one who goes against their role is the traitor and that was…Ava as she purposefully gave a copy of the book of prophecy to Brain which she and the others were told not to do going against MoMs instructions and by striking Luxu after he explains what he knows about MoMs plan and the ‘traitor’ was the one who started the Keyblade War, this is made more clear when you notice by the end of KH3 only the Foretellers who did kept to their role are together in the end and Ava is missing which seems to surprise Luxu a little but he u Dre’s told she had her own ‘mission’ which was to go against MoMs plan and change the future. I think the choice of calling it a mission and not a role is important here as it signifies that she did something differently to the others.

I absolutely recommend checking out the story of the entire Chi saga. Chi was the original story that runs parallel to this movie. Unchained Chi is a sequel/remake hybrid that’s hard to explain without spoilers. Union Cross is the second half of Unchained Chi. It is probably one of the most intriguing stories in all of gaming, and it’s only held back by its presentation as a mobile game. I really hope they remake it somehow.
