Only thing from Cata that I miss is the daily isle where you can 1vX all day long if you want on a fairly big area with dynamic situations happening all the time while waiting for bgs or arenas. Gameplay wise... cata was mid, it was not terrible, but I never liked that Blizzard started with the "you play how we tell you to" design philosophy, restricting talent building quite significantly.

Who would have guessed that the glory days of rogues would have obvious imbalance in pvp for rogues toward every other class. Only way to win against a rogue in cataclysm is to outlast them and catch them out of their cd's and even that is a pain because of recuperate in cata allowing them to get back to 100% health even without leaving stealth.

Rogue is a god class in cata yes, but a majority of them are terrible and make mistakes. Hunter was also really fucking good in cata and bad rogues will just fold to even an average hunter, while against good ones they won't be able to do anything

WoD was only considered "bad" because of its lack of end game content. If blizz didn't scrap a bunch of wood stuff to make way for legion then WoD would've been one of the best expansions ever. Aside from that I loved the story and questing. Oh yeah and pvp was fun as well
