Just cut the repeat tracks in Supercross. We don't need 3 Anaheims, get SX down to 14, add an extra week off in SX, add an extra week between SX and MX and either end the season a week early or give them two weeks between MX and SMX.

@@dabh4204 got to disagree these guys don’t do much different at all then what James created… if you want to say they “stand up” more sure go ahead.. they all scrub every jump some more than others (James created that), James has been jumping breaking bumps, wheeling over singles, wheeling into rhythm sections like in Toronto, quading things every other rider on the gate won’t, creating unique lines, gapping the field by 30+ seconds and he was doing it all on technology that was 15-20 years older than what the guys are on now. James Stewart was the single most important figure across the board to ever come through this sport. Every rider that throws their leg over a motorcycle and rides onto a track their entire style (scrubbing every jump, jumping nose down instead of nose high) is all some form of mimic of the style Bubba created. That is undeniable.

B being allowed to have two dnfs for 4 d&s by choice not racing would not work because fans would show up fans would be upset that top riders are missing maybe they're a fan of the guy who took the weekend off but it would also affect the racing which makes me think most guys wouldn't take the voluntary dnf they would want to rack up money & wins for the record books and if you were forced to choose a couple races to miss it wouldn't work for the reasons I stated at earlier

MotoGP is 20 rounds 45 minute races! MXGP is 20 rounds " x 2 Motos thats (40 motos x 35minutes) I raise this as its not that far out of balance! SX of 17 rounds is too much, I have heard many in and out of industry, even on channels, say they are bored half way through the season, cookie cutter tracks, this year stupid 9 whoop rubbish, becomes a grind, more of the same thing devalues the product. Drop the triple crown, introduce on of the SMX rounds as a triple crown! 12 proper rounds SX is all that's needed if we have an SMX at the end 12 rounds Outdoors 3 rounds SMX as is 28 rds for year NOTE: Dropping 5 rounds of SX will also give the riders and the teams time to rest and test for outdoors. Also reduce the track time, way to much practice, press time and then qualifying, why they need to qualifying after laps of practice in SX! This would also make SMX rounds more prestigious! Lower costs for privateers, in travel, bike maintenance, transport etc they still make the $$ in SMX. It will also open up time for MXON again, got to have balance, it was ballsy of Chase to bring it up at the press conference and well done for that. JMO, always believed it is 12 and 12.

@@susanbauer8095 They used to do that back in the 80s, but as much as I like that the bikes are so different in terms of setup and also logistics for the teams and costs which is also a major issue with the sport would increase. then factor in the increased costs for privateers across both class's it would be cost and maybe even more physically intensive. There has to be a balance imo. But I don't want to see MX reduced to a sprint either! MX is what 99.9% of the MX bike market is about, kids and 99% of us don't race or even ride Supercross! Moto is the core of the sport, it has to relate or it will die and there will be no SX in a few years, already foreign riders dominate 3 of the 4 SX titles (with futures title in there) NZ, Aussie and France owning them! SX is the cream it should be the spectacle, but its the bonus, it will never be the core! Like X games we all just don't start out doing backflips! The core ride MX then the top.1% make it to the extreme of the extreme! But look at that now, where is X Games compared to where it was 20 years ago, its all but unheard of for example! Foreign riders started to dominate that too because it was exploited and the base was ignored for money.

Shorter motos is a really good idea. You might be able to do even more races. Maybe even see Glen Helen again? What if SMX took over MXoN?

He's a way better rider than RC. RC rode flat footed, low elbows, sitting down on a bike that can't compare to jetts. Maybe RC could hang if he changed everything, but that's it. He was just in way better shape than everyone else. Now everyone is in good shape

Ricky and James are miles behind the new guys. Just as James and RC are better than Bailey and the bad boy himself Rick johnson. The sport has progressed so much. Just like Tomac vs Jett, tomac is a mix of old school vs new school. Tomac is literally one of the best ever. If RJ,Ricky,James,and even tomac would be better if they were raised in the era That Jett and Deegan has been. I still don’t think Jett is the best we have ever saw. He is just doing it different than the rest. Look at the way he did the sand section at charlotte. Yes. Let them do whatever it takes to be safe and healthier. Testosterone and the others will help them in supercross and mx. The recovery is so much better. I am fully behind them doing it. I have been taking trt for 18 years and it truly helps.

I think you guys are onto something with the reduced length of outdoor motos. I don't want to see everything in the race coming down to who has the best cardio program or whatever. It should be about who has the best bike skills and race craft. It's plenty demanding physically without pushing it to the insane levels of a 30 minute race. And NO ONE is going to miss those 10 minutes. If you need to fill the time then do a two stroke race in between.

Detroit already doesn’t haves a Fan fest. They surely wouldn’t be going there if you got rid of the 450’s too LOL. Dropping 2 SX races would be tough since that’s where so much of the support and attendance comes from. I would much rather see MX rounds cut. MX Spirts is bringing in enough money especially with SMX. They just don’t share it back to the sport. Prater said they get feedback from the fans. I want to know how. I have been going to races and buying tickets for years and have never received anything he is referring to. Someone needs to call him on it. It was on the recent AC interview.

If I were SMX President: 1) Simplify the rules to be synchronous for all races 2) 2 Moto format every race weekend (no heat races, no Triple Crowns) 3) 12 SX + 7 MX + 4 SMX = 23 Rounds (adds 8 weeks to offseason for riders) Optional: Expend 1 nitrous boost per race
