Crichton is up there now, but he's shifted to a new level this year/last.. go back 5 years, he was nobody. Joey Manu has been doing it for longer at the top level in my opinion. Crichton could surpass him but, time will tell.

They are the best. Latrell could be the best but he doesn’t have the work ethic. The thing with Latrell is he looks amazing when his team is on top and he isn’t required to do the hard work in defense as well as take the tough carry’s for his forwards when they are under pressure and tired. It’s why he plays Fullback. Don’t have to defend in the front line and you can inject yourself into the game when you want to. Put simply, I don’t think he has the ticker to play in the front line week in, week out.

Just on Seibold, I think people forget that he inherited a pretty average Manly team (excluding DCE and Turbo). He's had to bring in heaps of new players to fill the voids left by years of neglect from Hasler and Barrett. He's actually done a fair job so far and Manly had to play all the top teams to start their season making their run home dead easy. I'm expecting him to stay long term.

Latrell is an amazing ball playing fullback. You can’t even say attacking fullback because he makes fuckall metres relative to most other people, ignores the right side of the field and only gets involved in the game when in great feild position. He is only the “best fullback” in a 20 meter corridor close to the line and only on one side. Even the 1 thing he does do great as a fullback, set up and score tries, he does that in the same position of the field he would be at 6 or centre and goes missing for the rest of the game. The entire right side is basically cut off with him at fullback because he can’t pass that way. He doesn’t defend, even when forced to defend at fullback he often gets shown up. he doesn’t return the ball, he barely touches the ball in his own half. There is no argument for him to be at fullback that isn’t absolute gaslighting. Don’t even get me started on how much extra work the team has to do with him at fullback for him to not even turn up half the time. You don’t judge someone solely on what they’re capable of. You judge them on effort and he shows none.

@CJH94 are you serious 🤣🤣🤣 Trell had way less try assists playing centre at the roosters. Most of his try assists come from cut out balls or kicks. Ignoring the right side of the field isn't true either. In fact Souths struggled to play right BEFORE he came. He could definitely be a 6 and have a similar impact. Not really at centre though. Especially since Latrell is the last tackle kicker now.

Manu not the best but he is the best player than can cover centre, 6 and 1. Crichton is not as he is defence orientated and lacks the dynamic attack and passing skills of the best. Laterell is the best attacking centre but lacks the defensive skills - still lacks dynamic/ movement in defence and defensive reading of the best. Graham is probably the best player that has the nearest to having the attack of Laterall and the defence of Crichton. Best has direct line speed attack. Garrick has a better than average all around game - edged by Graham. Holmes is good but lacks size for any crash ball attack. Timoko is like Garrick but better at crash ball / impact plays but lacks the passing skills. Tago & May are like Timoko in style and of the same standard. Lomax again as Garrick but lacks the passing skills and is not dynamic enough. In short there is no best centre as there are types of centres and no one centre is sufficiently good enough at everything
