Quick note on the sunlightwolf summon, do the jack jaguar stuff first then link it off for princess, when you bring the sunlight wolf back then you relink it using the field spell so that rage is properly online

Actually, what you should do is end with just sunlight wolf. See, if you run 3 in the ED then you can link off the revived one and the link 4, giving you a reincarnated wolf, and both the link 3 and link 4 are live. That gives you the trap first, then princess, princess then triggers ye link 4 for 2 more destructions.

@@hyperlink6547 kaijus are pretty common right now, I've found keeping both on board for 3 reactive destructions and 1 to fall back on better than 4. No matter of they kaiju wolf or the link 4 at least one of them is live with princess

As a side note, miragestallio locks you into fire monster effects for the rest of the turn after you use it's effect to summon jaguar, so splash mage is no longer an option at that point.

It is, it’s just as good an option. You’d have to spend 2 to make splash and ensure you have 1 monster left on board after. Still gets you to heatsoul, just not as well as a linguriboh would in that scenario (which you wouldn’t anyways cause you need a link monster on board for the traps)

been testing it with the link 4 salad since it's easier to make with the princess , could pop 4 cards with rage targeting the link 4 & an extra pop with the princess , also playing will of the salamangreat , targeting the link 4 to special summon 4 salads from grave is kinda crazy

Couple things came to mind while watching: I think others have mentioned it as well, but bringing back the sunlight wolf (both really) and having them point to the EMZ would be the play. Also, this helps you not put PP in the zone waiting for a relinquished anima play. Miragestallio also fire locks with it's detachment effect; less of an issue once we get the new support. Also worth noting that using a properly xyz summoned miragstallio as link material is almost better playing into boards, as it can spin a card under these conditions. Overall an interesting looking new card! Can't wait to see it in the TCG.

Can someone explain this to me, promethean states: "If a monster(s) is Special Summoned to your opponent's field, while this card is in your GY (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 FIRE monster you control and 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy them, *and if you do*, Special Summon this card." Right? Opponent linked off his promethean target with I:P and it didn't get destroyed, but promethean still comes out and my monster was destroyed Why???

If I understand what you’re saying, you still need the Link 4 and probably 3 copies of Ash because its recyclable via Sunlight Wolf, plus 1 Miragestallio. Besides these, the Structure gives you all you need. There’s also the usual Cyberse staples for options for yourself. Splash Mage + Heatsoul, Transcode, Decode + Accesscode, 1 Linguriboh, maybe Update Jammer, Detonate Deleter, and Flame Administrator, but eh, do whatevs with these guys.

@@RayAkayama I’d say the deck is a couple steps below rogue at best atm. While the deck has tons of summoning power, what it does with its summoning power is limited thanks to a relatively poor Link 4 boss monster, a very strict Extra Deck, few interruptions on the opponent’s turn beyond the Traps, and a heavy reliance on the Graveyard. It can play through interruptions provided you have the resources in hand, but Nibiru kills your plays if you used too many HOPT effects, and it lacks the anti-roach deckout threat that something like Dark World has. For most plays, it’s a going second Accesscode OTK deck. It had little for going first beyond Heatsoul pass. Promethean does help the deck, giving it an interruption it didn’t have previously, but whether or not it’s enough to make it rogue we’ll have to wait and see. The new support for Salamangreat, whenever it comes out in Master Duel, is fantastic and will definitely give it a boost in power. Of Fire is another starter/extender that searches, the new Link 4 sets up your Traps easier, and the two Tuners help go into Synchro plays (even if the Salamangreat Synchro isn’t that impressive), allowing the use of Baronne. And with Promethan included, it’s gonna rock even more. Salamangreat is liked because of its freedom of play. You can perform the same combo with many different combo starters and extenders, and you can easily rebuild a board so long as you don’t lose everything at once. Besides the anti-meta Ninjas and Blackwings raw power, Salamangreats are arguably the closest to a “meta deck” that is a Structure Deck. If you decide to dive into it, be sure to play around with it a lot in Solo Mode so you can learn the flow. And if no? That’s fine too.

Giving Salamangreat an interruption is great, especially since its boards aren’t exactly impenetrable. If you have enough material in your hand, you can actually make Heatsoul and Princess first turn, so long as you don’t use Splash Mage’s effect AND summon it before making Princess.
