The weight definitely helps, I didnt really notice any effect on them. These are moving so slow that you can definitely see it when it happens. On my Gauntlet 30, I could see the wind pull rounds over 6 inches at 70 yards. These just lobbed in there haha, I really do need that revolver!

I wish this was the case, it was pretty cold both days. The weirdest part is that my red dot was hitting on target but my ACOG was somehow off and the ACOG was the one that was a laser. lol!

Living in the northern states , it gets damn cold.This morning,it was 28 degrees. And we aren't even in the cold months yet. Our channel host lives about 600 miles north of me, and I know his weather is far colder than mine here in Ohio. It wont be long before he will break out his wig with Christmas ornaments on it. Evey time you closed the the breech with the scope i was cringing. And towards the end u said that the red dot was on point, And theres PLA in between somewhere. where pressure is applied? Maybe thats why the scope is off.

The ACOG was off in the beginning, I think it was zeroed still but the slugs were acting up. The ACOG was spot on after I switched ammo, I used that for everything after I started missing when using the red dot. I think the red dot needed to be zeroed for the new ammo, but the sight is terrible to adjust.

How many psi are you getting into those cartridges with a transfer tank? They're rated for 5,000 psi, right?

Most transfer tanks are rated for forty five hundred psi.. Not many compressors go higher than that either but some do

4500psi from the transfer tank, these will do 5000psi 👍👍 At the moment you'd need a hand pump to reach 5000psi or a specific compressor that reaches 5k as well. 7k compressors are coming soon, hopefully!

@@corywebb5537 There's the gx 5800 and AEA 7000 that I'm aware of. The gx is like $500 on Amazon right now and can fill a 6L tank (slowly). The AEA isn't for sale in the US yet but is around $700 if you want to ship from Europe... but you'll need a transformer. I've a Huben GK1 coming in (5,000psi) and need to decide what I'm going to do. And it probably doesn't make sense to get a 5800psi box when 7000psi guns are in the way...

It was a little more than I needed for the blitz.But didn't want to need one that was rated higher and everything at the time was 4500psi. Like my megalodon, And? Now i'm waiting for the huben 😂 of course it's rated to 5000psi. Like impressays says on the gauge up to 6 thousand so I think it might go to the 5000. At least close, This compressor does have a burst disk.In case it reaches its limit, But even if. Not I think forty five hundred will work if that's all I can get at the moment. The other day you mentioned your huben gets jammed sometimes. I heard that 253-254 slugs will work the best

My Huben somehow still jams with 253/254 caliber slugs. The only thing that works so far are 25 caliber pellets. lol!

I had one optic setup on it the first time i had it out, if you aim just slightly to the right on the first round, it seems to work pretty good.

What I’ve been fantasizing about is a Volcanic Air Pistol.. the original volcanic pistols were severely underpowered and they tried to make reproductions but they couldn’t figure out how to make them eject the bullet casings reliably, since you don’t actually need cartridges for Air Pistols, that would solve the ejection issue, I see no reason why they can’t make a Volcanic Air Pistol, it could be much smaller than the Huben Gk1 which would make it easily concealable and it doesn’t need to have 15 + shots although having 6+ shots is definitely possible, it would definitely put a lot of people onto air guns, hopefully the lever action air pistol/volcanic pistol becomes a reality someday! A Air Revolver that takes Aea air cartridges would be beautiful though I must say

The EU version is advertised as such, but the US version is marketed more towards shotshells, slugs or arrows. I believe they are the exact same, but not sure if another part is required for the underwater part.

I used to be into paintball really big back in the day, stuff like that was hard to come by. Now its even more scarce, a lot of the places are gone. Thats what actually really made me want to get into airguns, I wanted a compressor to fill my paintball tanks but justifying that was insane for that purpose only. Theres one store that fills for $12 a bottle and takes about an hour and a half to get there and back. That price was an absolute robbery, you could get a transfer tank filled for less.

I like black powder, this is like the air version of that for me. I think the cartridges are awesome, theres down time for sure but I think this hobby requires a good amount of patience to begin with. The 457 liked the ammo a bit better, but this was still fairly accurate in 50 cal, considering the barrel length, being a big bore and wind gusts.

I have a horribly biased opinion when it comes to nearly anything 3D printed, I think pretty much everything looks like 💩. There are some very extremely rare scenarios where I do like the looks, but the #1 thing I look at is the function its providing. There are no other options that I am aware of for a stock and this desperately needed the option.

I have a horribly biased opion as well when it comes to 3D printed thing and think the oposite. I love the the look of 3D printed things but might be biased since printing repeating crossbows is one of my hobbies. I like the look of the "rifle" as it somewhat reminds me of some heavily modded shotgun from Cyberpunk. Other than this I feel very sorry to live in Nanny Germany where I am not allowed to own such nice airguns. Thanks for the video ! BTW: Those complaining about the look can come up with a more cleanly looking stock fitting the AEA air harpoon without modifications....I am currious.

@@HolgerBeetz Thank you, I appreciate it! I've received a few offers for 3D printed stocks on other airguns, the entire rifle stock not just a buttstock. I just couldn't do it though, it offers a new look to it, but doesn't really add a function. With this stock adding a great deal of stability, I had to jump on it. I don't care how this looks, it works and works great at filling the void. I 3D print myself, tinker some but mostly print to replace parts that don't exist anymore. You'd be amazed how many people tell me they will not get into airguns because the bottle on them is ugly. If I turned this down because of my bias, I'd feel dumb for doing so.

Is it safe to say you wouldn't be interested in black powder? To me, I look at it like that but the air version. If you were into black powder, its mostly downtime as well, but it is fun just requires a lot of patience. The big plus to this though, its as clean as can be when compared to BP. When I use my pistols, after about a dozen rounds, I have to break the whole thing apart and scrub the crap out of it. This would be great to have out with friends. One person has a go while the others help reload.

I can understand your enthusiasm, but the simplicity of a carbon bottle under the barrel is more appealing to me.

I dont mind it at all, some people wont get involved because of it though. This might be a better option for them, looks more traditional.

The original concept from a different company was using it in a bolt action. What happens when you fire all your rounds? Youre either buying more or reloading them. Have you reloaded firearm ammo? Id say you are going to refill this 10x faster than reloading firearm cartridges. Its AEA fyi, they break no different than any other company's airguns that I have dealt with.
