"I think we're in trouble": Voters in Saugus, MA react to the debate

In the past three presidential elections in Saugus, Massachusetts, voters have see-sawed between the two major parties, electing Barack Obama in 2012, Donald Trump in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020. Nearly three-quarters of Saugus’ registered voters are not affiliated with any party.
Thursday’s debate between President Biden and former President Trump left some in Saugus, especially independent voters, shaking their heads in despair.
