California is genuinely a great location for a Pokemon Region. It's got every major Biome (coast, mountain, desert, forest, plains, lakes/rivers, marshes) and has tons of recognizable locales (San Francisco, Yosemite, redwood forest, gold mines, Hollywood, theme parks, Lake Tahoe, LA, San Diego, highway 1, etc).

They’ve done Worlds in CA multiple times, they love CA. As for ZA, it’s def releasing next year Spring. They never embrace new hardware so it’s unlikely there’s a Switch 2 version. I feel like next year is all ZA focused and then 2026 is the big anniversary celebration with Gen 10 at the end of the year.

Console only spinoff games have been replaced with mobile games because they are easier to make and way more profitable because you have to constantly spend money on them instead of paying once for a console spinoff game.

Agreed but I think mobile games have replaced console only spinoff games for Pokémon because they are easier and more profitable then a console only spinoff game. They might do a mobile game for PMD, rangers, conquest, the puzzle games or pinball can all go on mobile and they update every 4 months or so with new stuff.

Like not only is there the cash grab/money pit aspect of it, but also the fact many of those don't have easily translatable ways to move to mobile like Pinball and TCG are easy cause you don't need to much thought to make a Gacha or a pinballer. But Mystery Dungeon, Ranger and Conquest are so heavily console games from how they're built, how in depth their stories can go and how their respective gameplays work it would either be so soulless they'd burn day 1 or they'd go a month and just drop

@@grantdaily9662 oh I agree I much rather have console only spinoff games but I really think it’s mobile or nothing now except if it is on NSO expansion pass like Pokémon puzzle challenge which will most likely never be the DS/3DS games which is most of these. Although there is great mobile games with everything you said I think genshin impact and honkai: star rail are really popular mobile games because of the story and some others but I doubt Pokémon would care to put that much effort into it. Like I stopped playing masters because there was a difference between paid gems and free gems.

IDK why people think gen 10 is happening in San Fran. Please tell me where people get this idea. Gen 10 is going to line up w/ 30th anniversery. It'd be stupid, financially, for it not to be. I can see why Pokemon would have gen 10 be in USA tho. Only because it would be like a 'thank you' or 'dedicated' to the USA for the amount support and love the country has given to Pokemon and such. Also, since they already did USA East coast game (BW NewYork), so it would make sense they do west coast. I wouldn't count Hawaii as a true west coast dedicated game. Also, considering they are already on the west coast, I can see them taking a tour of the areas and getting two birds w/ one stone. Also, could make DLC go to Unova and Alolah (idk). Pokemon had hired like a bunch of new people, which I thought was for ZA (and probably so), but seems like it's going to be mainly for G10 and SW2, and whatever new project they may have for 2025. ZA release would be announced probably before the end of the year and released in March or April. ESP w/ February (Pokemon day) giving you insight onto how the game looks and building hype. I can't imagine they make you wait anytime past June 2025.

I dont think Worlds in California has anything to do with Gen 10! Not once in Gen 9 has there been a Worlds in Spain. No Hawaii in Gen 7, no France in Gen 6 either... Its only happened once with the UK at the end of Gen 8 when Legends Arceus was already out and Gen 9 was about to release!

BW remakes are most likely not till after gen 10 in 2026 so in 2028 we should get them. I highly doubt we will ever get gen 3 on NSO most likely not even gen 1-2 as well. As for console only spinoff games they have been replaced by mobile games would of noticed it last year if detective pikachu returns wasn’t delayed but we most likely are getting another mobile game next year they are easy to make and way more profitable then a console only spinoff game sadly.

Going to call it now. Legends ZA first full trailer in Pokémon presents 2025 will release around spring or summer. Black and White remake for Nov 2025. Will announce Gen 10 2026 Pokemon day. Giving us the whole year to enjoy both games while waiting and being hyped for Gen 10.

@@TheEvilRohanite but we have; before sun and moon we were told the championship would be held in Hawaii same with Galar/UK and Paldea with us having a championship in Spain and let us not forget when they went to Paris for X and Y. We have evidence of a pattern when it comes to the championships being held in these countries and the gen being that region worlds is held in and from where I'm standing I'd bet on gen 10 being in Cali and is probably the real reason why archeludon got an evo to look like the golden gate bridge.
