Chances are it is the halo driver module that is acting a bit weird and your wiring is okay. If it isn't difficult, swap the modules around and see if the problem goes to the other side.

Dude! Love the build. Instead of flare cut you could have done a ball joint spacer. I have run bj spacers and larger torsion bars in a toy pickup and a 4 runner. Huge difference. I find you can relax the torsion bars (old man emu or sway-a-way) a bit and get a better ride and with bj spacers you can keep the height you need especially with larger tires. Also, an 8” wheel instead of a 10” would help with rub. Your tires are meant to be run on a 7-8” wheel. Cheers.

I have a 05 ranger 3.0. It has a similar hot start issue. I've read injectors or a sensor is bad, truck doesn't know its hot. Adds to much (or not enough) fuel. Let us know and good luck!
@eurobeatmachinist7323 жыл бұрын
Hook it up to a obd scanner and see what it shows as the engine temp while hot. If it is not right replace the temp censor for the ecu, youll get your money back from it fast from saved fuel.

I have a similar hot start problem with my carbureted ‘87 pickup. I believe the float level of the bowl is too high, while it’s running it burn gas fast enough to not overfill but once i turn it off, after it sits a minute or two, it starts dripping fuel out of the accelerator jet. Point being, it’s probably an injector leaking fuel into the manifold like you think. Same symptoms, different tech lol
