We found out in September 2024 that our sister has stage 4 colon cancer. It was discovered during surgery she was getting adhesions removed. She had a CT scan previously that revealed some other suspicious looking spots. During her surgery, cancer was found on her ovaries, lymph nodes and colon. It also spread onto her peritoneal wall. So I can totally relate to your story. She has had her first round of chemo and goes in for her second round today. God help you and our sister too. Both of you are loved more than you'll ever know.❤❤

My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 crc this past June. It has been really tough for our family, we are 1st time parents, our baby is 10 months, he spent 1 month in NICCU, and we were blaming him being exhausted to that, we were traveling every day to the hospital, finally he decided to go to ER and that's when we received the bad news. I pray every day for everyone who is fighting this disease, for the doctors and scientists to find better treatments. No one can imagine what is to go through cancer, how devastated it is for the person suffering from it, but also for the family. I will pray for your sister 🙏

I’m so sorry! You’re in my prayers! About 6 wks before I found out I was pregnant, the father of my baby found out he has lung cancer. That was in June of this year. Since then, it has spread to his brain and prostate. It’s definitely not looking good and after everything he’s already been through in his life (he’s a firefighter and he did 4 tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, n some other places over there that he can’t tell me about) it just seems like he lost his fight. I’m praying that since he’s wanted a Son more than anything, that once our Son is born, it will give him even more of a reason to fight. I think this baby is a gift. I got pregnant with an IUD in and I was told there was a very small chance he would survive, but he did and he’s already grown so much. I’m just praying his Dad pulls through and can be here to see him grow up. I’ll pray for you and your family🙏🏻 Don’t stop fighting!!!!❤❤❤

Thanks. I’m in remission. I don’t know what was worse; the brachytherapy radiation therapy or post ostomy surgery take down. Hopefully you don’t have the former, especially given yours is colon. Mine was low down rectal. The absolute agony was unbearable, even with a whole host of pain meds and nerve blockers. The odd thing was I had no risk factors. I don’t smoke, rarely drank, was always athletic and at the time of diagnosis, I was training for a triathlon. I likely put the pain and gut issues down to diet. It was the blood and the very sick I had that told me something was not right. I’m sure you’ve had lots of advice, but mine to you is this: become an informal patient, which reduces the fear; don’t be afraid of your emotions ( I had two major collapses on chemo): enjoy each day no matter how sick you feel; and above all remain calm and positive. You can do this. Massive hugs and support. Love Philip

My brother was diagnosed with stage iv metastatic colon cancer in 2020. His was inoperable. Tumors were in the transverse colon and the liver. At first, chemo worked well to stop the tumor growth. But then, after a year, the chemo stopped working. Because the tumor was starting to fully block the colon, the tumor was removed. All that remained were the tumors in the liver. He then went through an immunology trial that did more harm than good. But the liver was in bad shape and liver failure led to his passing. I strongly suggest that you start thinking now about finding a live liver donor. This will be key to surviving. All it takes is someone donating part of their liver that grows back very quickly anyway. I recommend viewing a patient story video where a guy got liver transplant from a live donor. He had stage iv colon cancer and he survived. The liver will be key in your journey. Godspeed and never give up 🙏

I had ovarian cancer, which spread to my colon, abdominal lining, and pelvis. It was stage 3. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. You are in my prayers.

I have breast cancer at 50. Chemotherapy didn’t really affect me. Surgery was scary, but fine. When I got radiation therapy, it reopened my surgical wound, burned it badly. 7 months later it’s still open. The drug that they put me on to help prevent more cancer caused blood clots and now I have one in each lung. This is where I stand right now.

What I think would be useful is to see some updates on people who have talked on this channel. A lot of times the patient is NAD when they come on here but it in this case with Cassandra it would be good to see how she progresses and hopefully see a good outcome

@@ShadowMan66I thought that but my own beautiful mother died a few weeks ago of it. I wonder if it’s the spike protein in the virus itself and from the jab.

@@saphire1020 Sorry to hear that, I lost my Mum in 2004 and it still hurts. I feel these recent cancers need reviewing given the injections almost all had.

So glad I came across this. I had a brush with prostate cancer myself. In remission now but every time I turn around I think it’s back. It looks like you are strong. So that’s good. Thankyou for sharing this most compelling story. I will try and follow your progress.

You are in our prayers! And we are rooting for you to have a smooth & peaceful recovery. ❤Sending love to you & your family! Thank for sharing your story of courage & helping women to realize they need to love themselves & take care of their health & how self love & mental health play a role in that step. We take care of so many people in our lives but fail to take a moment to show ourselves kindness. You are such a beautiful brave soul. Thank you for the reminder to take breaks & enjoy the moment around you when you are going through such trials. 🍁🍂

Bless you 🙏. Prayers. You are your own best advocate. My Dad had rectal bleeding that a doctor said was hemorrhoids. A few years later he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. He was supposed to live 6 months to a year and he lived 7 years. The Dr said he was a maricle 😊. He has been gone 20yrs. But he fought bravely and never gave up.
