nicole browne I literally cannot tell you how many times he has. My situation is very crazy. Both of us goofed it up. He is more broken than I am. He won't get help. I cannot handle it anymore. I told him the truth and told him I couldn't be friends. I am not waiting anymore. I do not have time for his indecision anymore. I'm 52 and he's 58. If he doesn't know what he wants...his problem. Love what you've said there towards the end Craig "Regardless if we get our Ex back or not, we can still turn our life around." Because personal growth is most important, it not only helps us get an Ex back. But it also helps us be a much better person, since we have a better understanding of how relationships work. Although I am still waiting for my turn, I was cheering for this guy! I especially found hope when his ex said she dated other guys, but kept comparing them to him. Craig said, "They're attached to you, there's a difference". I am hoping my ex is comparing his new one (2 mos later) to me, after we had been together for a total of twelve years. This is an awesome story! It gives me hope. My ex fiancée left 4 months ago. No contact whatsoever on either end. Cynthia Davison my husband and I have been on and off again. He moved across the country and then he asked me to come and join him and I did because I always wanted to be with him. But four months later he kicked me out of the house and even change the locks. I was literally Out on the street. There’s a lot more details to the story such as I may not have been the nicest person all those years we were together and he finally got his revenge. He wanted to teach me a lesson. I truly believed that he hated me so what was the point of me trying to reach out to him? But that’s just what he did two years later. He asked me to be friends with him on Facebook and I ignored him. About a month later he sent me another message and I ignored him again. After the third message he sent me I decided to answer him. And now we are dating again. But I am trying to pace myself and I am letting him do the pursuing.

Shauna B. Wow! Good luck! Be careful. If he did it once...I don't trust my ex not to do it again. That's why I have decided to be stronger and move on. I want to have a healthy relationship. He's all kinds of traumatized and avoidant. I don't see us making it. But I will. I'm determined to fix my issues for the future. Her reaching out to you just because she is in a miserable state is not a good thing for you, because it would mean that she just needed a shoulder to cry on and chances are that she dumps you again the second she feels better. This would break your heart again and if you value yourself you shouldn't allow someone else to use you like this. But that's just my opinion. I hope that whatever happens in the future will be to your benefit.

I later dmed her from a different account and she was like "you were not the one i was waiting for" and i said "okay just saying hi for the sake of being friendly". She unblocked me from insta and the phone, but nothing else. I still love her, but neither can forget her or be with here, even though waiting for her is a waste of time and is a hopeless effort. She must really still hate herself for being madly in love with me once.

RedTieAgent I know exactly why she left. And I've made drastic improvements. If I had done what I'm doing right now, this breakup never would have happened. To make a long story short, she left because of I lost my job due to an injury, and I totally gave up on myself and didn't even look for another job for over a year while she struggled to pay both our bills. (Shitty thing of me to do, I know. I carry a lot of guilt over it.) But now I have a really good job where I'm making more money than I ever have. I just want a chance to show her that I want to, and can, provide for her and give her the life she deserves. I want to, and can, be the man that she had wanted me to be.

I was dating a much younger woman for about a year. Felt so good then she dropped me.. I was shocked & heartbroken. She wanted to be friends. I eventually learnt and said no and went into no contact.. I had true deep feelings for her.. she recently spotted me on a night out. I was just back from holiday and had a lovely tan. Hey all!! I did no contact and after 2 weeks she reached out saying “When so you go back to school” then I didnt respond that day and she then reached out the next morning saying “Because I would like to see you”. We made plans and we met up and it went AMAZING. I was making her laugh and smile like crazy and she was very receptive to everything. Just finished workbook 3. I wanted to say how much work i do, but i think i got one of those "aha" moments! I dont think my parents were not paying attention to my needs, i believe my mother was too much attentive and yet i developed insecure attachment style. While watching "Be her best option video", when Craig mentioned about looking for trauma in past i thought of two stories from my early childhood. One: my father told me that i was drowning when i was about 2 yrs old and he saved my life that day. Two: my beloved grandmother died when i was 4 and since that time i was afraid to be alone during my childhood. I wonder if those are roots of my anxiety. Yep, i know this is strange post and even stranger though, but i got to share it with somebody. Ofcourse video is cool. But i believe im doing even more work than this guy :P

Happy for this guy. My situation however is I believe irredeemable. "Your so perfect and amazing" "I just need to fix myself, I have alot of issues" "You never did anything wrong" "It's not you, its me"....blah, blah, blah... LDR/was to be marriage/move in together; went up in flames basically when I got stationed back in the states. We never had a big fight or argument, I never was jealous or insecure with her. Showed her all the love and affection I could while being on the other side of the planet. We've known each other since 1996 and were like best friends and "soulmates"; her words also, not just mine. "Things felt so much easier, when you were stationed in Japan"... Yeah, I bet they did feel easier. Translation: "I've been leading a double-life and found someone local to meet my needs." I rather have her pissed off and hate me for something I did that may have caused the breakup instead of complete indifference and how she couldnt care less if I was alive or dead. Now she doesnt have to feel "guilty" to be with the guys she's been with for who knows how long now.

This story is full of red flags to me. This reminds me of my teenage years when my mom was with a terrible man and she was actually a terrible mom!! This woman reminds me of mom. She dismisses that her daughter does not like this man, we don't hear why, how old, etc. I hear a woman flip flopping extremely. Dismisses her daughters concerns and wellbeing. Maybe this is a good guy, but it sounds like it is unhealthy this woman flip flops her attitude towards him and her daughters concerns. A mature parent, will take a daughters concerns seriously if the daughter is still dependant on her. And will set a goal to make it work, and not do this 180. Sorry if I was harsh, I absolutely do love this channel and it has helped me so much. But I think major red flags were overlooked in this case, unless there is info that was not shared. It was trigger because of what happened to me as a teenager, and I hope I am wrong.

Im not sure if she will ever come back.. my ex broke up after two years of intensive relationship (shes 8 years younger than me so around 20) When she broke up she was crying, saying she loves me, and im damn importat to her but she don't see a future.. that she need space and we can be friends after she moved on. After she went out of the door.. few minutes later she blocked me on whatsapp ... I was begging, apologizing and writing her a letter the next days, put the letter in front of her door with flowers and a heart ballon.. told her that im gonna change and how important she is.. I got the stuff I put in front of her dor it back, in a fucked up thrown together package a few days later ... she could have simply thrown it away, but it seems, that she wanted to hurt me I guess. (basically I fucked it up for almost 2 weeks every few days.. the letter and then writing her on facebook every few days).. she just answered two times... she wrote that she need space and I need to accept that and she allready made her decision and that i've hurt her a lot in the relationship and she deseves someone who takes her as she is.. (i realized that and really love her the way she is with all her good and bad sides). Now its almost a month ago and no contact since 8 days. I can see, that shes listening to her "fallen for you" playlist on spotify and shes posting happy pictures of her and friends on her instagram. I guess because she broke up so damn out of nowhere, that there is maybe another guy!? .. would explain why shes listening to love songs and beeing so damn cold now.. before she was so addicted to me and always jealous and so on. I had allready six girlfriends before her in my life..(all between 0,5 years to 2 years) I ended some relationships, some broke up with me, some we both decided to break up. From the ones who broke up with me, one came back after some years, or lets say maybe I would have had another chance.. the other one never looked back and is still happy with her new boyfriend. If I think about myself, when I was young.. like 15-20 years.. I ended two relationships (of 2 and 3 years) and never looked back because i fel in love with another girl everytime.. so there was no moment for myself to say I would give one of the girls another chance even not after I lost the new girlfriend after... so I'm not sure, how realistic it is for me, that my ex comes back someday.. because I experienced both sides .. I would not have gotten back with one of my ex, so why should they do. I really miss my ex, I loved her a lot and i still love her...She was so affectionate and showed me that she loves me all the time.. she seemt so happy and told me i will not loose her and that the relationship is damn important to her.. 5 days later she broke up. I hope she will miss me someday.. but im not sure this will ever happen because of her distanced cold fucked up acting now. I miss her. I bought the workbooks and working on myself, doing a lot of sports.. hopefully I get a second chance someday.. when she broke up she gave me my tshirt back but she didnt take her stuff (like her toy animal) from my place.. maybe because we both were crying and she needed to escape?!.. or did she do this on purpose.. she also didnt delete our pictures from facebook. There is still hope.

@@ShotoMetsu86 thanks for your reply.. she deleted the pictures some weeksnago from facebook, wrote me before some weeks that I should her send her stuff in a package .. I wanted to meet her for changing stuff... she first agreed and then said "oh i forgot i have no time" so i send her her stuff in a package... when she received it she wrote me that there is stuff missing ...and I didnt reply..few days later she asked it I can take a look again... (without saying what is missing) and thats it.. no contact since 5 weeks. My head moved on. no hope anymore but thats okay im done with her and relationships :-)

ah and if you are in a similar situation...I'm sad for you.. what helped me the most was no contact.. not replying anymore..but it took few weeks and then i was able to stop replying or writing..
