In england they were called jumble sales.mainly organised by the church but we too had harvest festivals.we weren't religious but in the 70's there wasn't much else to do!I remember standing by a stall for (ages)waiting on a boxed airfix model of some sort of fighter plane & my mum got it😁glued it,stuck the labels on it & hung it from the ceiling with cotton.where did those 40 years go🙄

I bought a set of non-stick All Clad cookware in 2014. Some of the non-stick coating started to bubble up on the edges. I called All Clad and then emailed pictures of the defective pieces. They replaced them with stainless pots. I don’t know if they do it for all types of pans but it might be worth a try.

You are 2,725 miles from me. I don’t think we’ll be traveling that far darn it. We go to Oklahoma once in a while. That’s as far east we go. We go to Az and Idaho. So when we go to Vegas and Az (phoenix,Tucson ) we go through Oregon ( duh we live in Washington) Idaho Nevada all in one day. Plus I can’t take humidity. We moved from Indiana to Cali when I was 7. The dr told my parents I would die ( severe asthma) if we didn’t go west. Love the dry!

Goodwill stores near me are now selling anything that might be valuable online. In the past I’d always see deals on stuff. I only bought stuff that I needed and I cherish many of the finds I scored. I’ve been looking at the auction site and can’t believe the prices most things are selling for. Ridiculously high for something sold as is and you can’t physically inspect the item before buying.

The donated sticker is over the bar code so if you buy it you can't take it back to the retail shop and get a full price refund. I'm in the UK and this is common practice now.

Just want you to know that brake cleaner takes out most grease stains @ 6:52! My husband got me onto that as he’s a mechanic/instructor. Now if I see oil or grease stains in clothes I hit them with brake cleaner. Works like a charm! Great find with that SaladMaster Julian, and the Lily Kayla! ❤

Grease stain- dawn dish soap and water in a spray bottle. One wash and it’s gone. I use this trick for grease spots all the time! And I’ve gotten some good deals because the shops always think they’re ruined. 🤷🏼‍♀️
