I have a feeling it’s cuz Alex kept asserting into their marriage that caused her divorce or something more too it. I’ve heard stories like this before. If the best friend is always like this and then gets divorced, the best friend will drag that friend down with her and OP’s wife will regret not listening to OP for boundaries. I’ve heard multiple stories like this before and unfortunately most of the time the wife or husband always goes against the OP and then later regrets and harasses OP for another chance. Yeah this happened to me. Never let anyone in on your marriage. Had an insecure single friend that wanted to “feel like number one” bad idea. She would always make snide comments about my husband. My husband is a wonderful man. She felt jealous which I felt bad about. She was a bigger girl at the time and dated very few men. But the moment she found a man she ghosted me. Unfortunately I think he is abusive. When I made my feeling about him know she chose him. He would bark at us. Was rude and inconsiderate had to make an issue of everything. I once had a migraine while riding with them and asked if they could turn it down and he said “no one’s gonna tell me what to do in my car”. It wasn’t even his car. It was my friends car dude was homeless and carless and unemployed when they met. I thought he was a loser and told her so. A man like that with 2 ex wives and 3 baby mommas is just full of red flags. He had 3 kids one with each ex. 2 of the mothers have terminated his rights in court so he can’t see those kids. I told her all these things concerned me and she dumped me. I bet this friend will do the same. Meet some loser and she will ghost the relationship once she is in one.
