As a Seahawk fan, I witnessed a post season game of Rogers against my Seahawks. He doesn't come up big at critical moments. Russell Wilson outplayed him in their post season head-to-head matchup. Although I grew weary of watching a slowing Russell Wilson spinning into sacks and was ready for Seattle to move on, I always believed that the Jets would have been better off going after Wilson instead of Rogers. For one simple reason: Although Wilson is an awkward cornball, he loves the sport to the point to where he eats, sleeps, and drinks football 24/7. He would never take the summer off like Rogers will. Further, Wilson's deep ball is more accurate than Rogers and always has been. Finally, Wilson is more clutch in big games than Rogers is.

100% agree! I would take Russ everyday and all day over ARod. He is the most over-rated unclutch diva QB in league history. Only 1 SB appearance and 1-4 in NFCCGs. He is a fraud in the playoffs. The problem is Aaron Rodgers is a toxic teammate. The Jets have a decent roster and some good individual talent. But you can see that the young ones are just deflated at this point. At some point, you need to roll with someone you know can accept responsibility and even if you lose he keeps trying to get better.
