@@mellvins0059 Iam sure some hyper competive players can Reach A tier with them, but most players will be C or low B tier I reckon. If our detachment gave us a damage boost of some sort, specially vs monsters or vehicles, then I could see high B or A tier. Which could mean S tier for hyper competive players.

Do take into account that those are the competitive rankings, a setting where everyone is playing to win so their gonna take the best stuff they can whereas in casual settings they might perform better just depends on where your playing really

@@binnsi2251 ye, it's more of a "easy to play, hard to master" army. If you know how to use them well, you will be a serious threat on a table, but before that you will be able to kill some, but most of the time you will just lose hard.

Yea, GK is my main army and I keep saying this. We are really good vs certain armies and play secondaries well but there are certain enemy we simply cant deal with whatsoever, and one those sort of builds (lots of monsters or tanks) we simply get DPS-checked out of winning sometimes, especially if they can block us from objectives and prevent us playing secondaries. Mathmatically impossible for us to kill a tyrannofex in cover, for example. Bit nonsense. We needed +1 AP for psycannons at minimum to have a prayer at killing certain units with max attacks over 5 turns of a game.

GK are really really fun to play indeed! but as you said, it's really difficult to kill big monster or vehicles... However Kaldor Draigo is a beast in a paladin squad ! you should try it (you would have one shot Moration with his 2+ anti demon with the radiant strike stratagem, giving you mortal wounds on a 2+ hahahaha :) 100% agree on the Grand master in nemesis dread, he sould hit on a 2+. He is the only boss/captain/commander in all warhammer 40k hitting on a 3+... It's really BS... Give me a GMNDK with a 2+ to hit, and give the army a little more lethality agaisnt vehicles, and GK are in top tier

Anti-keyword makes your rolls on that specified number a critical wound. Which translate to devastating wounds when you get that keyword

Once people learn how to deal with GK Itheir win rate drops away pretty quickly.. Eg. If the second game dude have parked all his vehicles in the middle. Still fun to play and can score secondaries but def an army that people can “figure out”

The predators are there litterly for the lasconnons, entropy cannons are st10, so its nice to have the st12 ranged attacks, same with the brigands. Plus 10" move its very helpful for contagion range.

I see, so the only thing that affects the "saving throw" is benefit of cover essentially, so the ignore modifiers won't ignore cover but since dg degrades the save Characteristic you can ignore that, makes sense. Here's a question about typhus now, eater plague ignores lone op right? Because it's not a ranged attack, it's a psychic ability which is technically a psychic attack but I don't think it's categorized as a ranged attack. And when typhus makes melee attacks and kills anything non vehicle or monster does that res poxwalkers? I believe it does because it's worded when a model in this unit destroys an enemy model return a poxwalker back to the feild.

@HellstormWargaming What I would very much want to know is; when do people begin selling 3D printed copies of official GW models online for cheap because they has been serial printing them for re-sale, I mean if you can buy counterfeit watches, clothes and cars from China why not GW warhammer miniatures?... I'm one of those people who cant feel any sympathy for giant corporations loosing a bit of profit. Especially one with as bad of a customer friendly reputation as GW has. Also our Intelectual Property laws are archaic and not consumer friendly, so I dont respect them.

It doesn't matter if you ignore modifiers to the save characteristic. When you throw the dice you get the -1 anyway because it specifically applies to saving throws and Valoris does not deny that

Mis-ruled Truesilver Armor, Morty doesn't protect characteristics of the attacks being made by models, just the model's characteristics themselves. Maybe your TO ruled it the other (wrong imo) way, im not sure.

Number of attacks, weapon strength, ap, and damage are all characteristics on the datasheet right? Therefore they are characteristics of that model thus you can ignore the modifiers to them.

Just heard Aiden talk about the tournament. He said that final game he was missing 4 of his secondary cards that accidently got left at the previous table. They all had very scorable secondaries in it. Consider your self lucky you loyalist puppet, Papa Nurgle was preoccupied with something else obviously

Predators are super cheap and were only being slept on all across chaos and imperium due to the forge fiend and lancer. Death Guard struggle with speed lascannons help that due to their immense range. Predators are also one of the only options in the army for strength 11+ weapons, others being hellbrutes twin las cannon for 140 and a land raider 2 twin soul shatter cannons for 240, or a defiler. Predators get a much higher volume of shots and movements over a hellbrute and have a smaller silhouette than a land raider or defiler. They’re also great into brigands which half of chaos allies in.
