Thank you so much! I'm glad kratom has helped you so much. I quit alcohol about 6 months ago and kratom has smoothly covered that gap. Of course, there are other benefits but that one is huge for me personally. The relief it has provided you with for Crohn's Disease is huge. This plant is so misunderstood by many.

Thank mg you Emily for this video. I've been taking 6 grams of white vein (green and red didn't work for me but I have read it does for many others) for 6 months now. Kratom literally IMHO saved my life. I was until I retired in 2015 a concrete construction worker. That trade as is just about all other construction trades, very hard on the human body. I worked hard and needed frequent visits with a chiropractor to help me do the work I loved. Truly I did love my work. 1988 an adjustment to my neck went very wrong, my legs and arms went numb. I returned to the chiropractor twice then knew this wasn't going to help me. I went then to a neurosurgeon for help, he ran nerve conduction tests and could fine nothing BUT he did send me to another neurosurgeon at Swedish Hospital in Seattle where I underwent the first cervical fusion. The fusion (C3/C4) didn't work but the Rx I had been prescribed - 50mg tramadol 3 times a day in 1990 and then 300mg gabapentin 3 times a day in1993 helped me live, work and deal with my pain until about 8 months ago. I could not sleep other than 15 to 20 minute naps due to total exhaustion. I was desperate because I was hurting so bad,, I was in tears the majority of the day and for a man to be in this condition,, crying most of the time was hard for me. I could not believe I was in such a state of mind. My doctor made an appointment for me with a neuro surgeon in 2014 who first prescribed injections in my neck and shoulders. They failed. I honestly didn't know if I could continue living,, which being a Christian told me I cannot do to myself the thing I was considering,, NO,, I cannot do that. There has to be something that can help me. My neurosurgeon advised we needed to do another cervical fusion,, this time C2 thru C7 were fused. That also did not work. The fusion was a complete success as far as the surgeon' work being done properly BUT I now had even more pain at the site of surgery I had piled upon the other pain. As I said, I was desperate for help,, in what I felt was a last ditch effort my doctor (reluctantly) prescribed 15 mg (the blue ones) morphine. As I waited at the pharmacy for that first (and only) bottle of pills I was trembling with high expectations this would finally help me manage my pain and live my days at a level of pain I could deal with. First pill,, waited an hour,, nothing. Called my doctors office and waited another two hours for a return call, she advised I up the dosage to 2 pills every 4 hours. I took the now 30mg of morphine twice in 8 hours,, nothing, no relief. I had been using almost every topical available, every therapeutic patch I could find. Those helped a little so I searched, searched online for anything that might help..... FINALLY I stumbled upon a video talking about Kratom. I did the dur diligence, researched a number of vendors reading their reviews and weighing many with an open mind. Settled upon a vendor and ordered my first order. 3 days waiting and my order of Kratom was finally in my hands. I mixed 6 grams in warmed orange juice and to my wonder,, within 2 hours there was a VERY NOTICABLE REDUCTION OF PAIN!! No, I did not increase the doses because my pain had been reduced from a level of 8 out of 10 (Yes I know,, measuring pain is 100% and individual thing, the scale is different for each of us) to a level of around 3,, this is a level of pain I can deal with. KRATOM HAS SAVED MY LIFE! Will I be addicted to it? Of course I will but I will never abuse it. My doctor wants to hear nothing of my success and I do understand, respect her opinion but it doesn't matter,, I will not stop taking Kratom unless or until someone can prove it is harmful to me. I am charted for a blood test this week where my doctor will be specifically looking at my liver. So far I've seen, read or heard that Kratom when used responsibly can be linked to issues with a persons liver or kidneys. KRATOM SAVED MY LIFE!

This plant is a godsent, I really don't know if I could have got through my opiate withdrawals had it not been for kratom, Kratom freed me from a prison I had been in for years and years I'll never forget the night I woke up after eating about 3 G. Worth of capsules and when i I woke up at night with withdrawals from opiates i ate a couple more frams and, I went back to sleep I woke up the next day no stress no anxiety no panic attacks and the Cravings were there just a little teeny tiny bit but while taking the kratom I felt fine, now this was after about 6 months of tapering myself down but I just couldn't get past the Post Acute withdrawal syndromes which were all emotional that's the hard part, but i did it, thank God for kratom .......thank god

Thank you for being so open about your journey with this. Kratom has also been a major source of positive life change for me, and I also have had crohns for over 20 years and take Humira. Humira has always been my treatment in recent years, and Kratom works beautifully with it. I also take breaks regularly (every one - two weeks, for three days each time) and I log my serving size - it never goes higher than two grams. The resets and breaks are absolutely vital, and as you say, so important to see where one is at. Breaks are not that difficult when you do them often. I can write a book on how it’s positively influenced my life, but I will just say thanks for your channel and good luck!

Hey Emily. I follow your channel and comment occasionally but I’ve also chatted with you on Reddit as well. Wanted to let you know you have given me so much good advice several times and recommended a few vendors I’m using now as well. I too have been taking Kratom two years now. I was introduced by a friend as well. Oh and I also take buspar lol. In the last video about taking a break to see where you are as far as pain level was great because I thought that makes sense and so I’m doing just that. Thanks so much for all you do girlfriend . I may reactivate my Facebook account that I haven’t used in a couple years and if I do I will definitely be following botanical queens.

Subscribed after seeing you on Joey Talks. Like Joey I started taking Kratom for depression. Like Joey life events were closing in around me. I could not sleep. I drank excessively. and despair was the baseline emotion I was dealing with. Heard about Kratom on the Joe Rogan Experience and gave it a try, and BOY HOWDY!! My depression lifted. I had the mental space to face the many problems I was dealing with. I came out of that rough patch and found myself in a situation even better than before the trouble started. It seemed like my LUCK had actually changed. Kratom brought out the pluckiness I needed to bring that luck. Had I only known about this stuff even ten years ago I would have long since learned to get out of my own way. I swear by this plant and I tell everyone about it as a service to society.

I experience no side effects when I take my breaks. Moderation is key with kratom!

Thanks for sharing your story. It is good to see how much Kratom has helped you and to read about other stories. I am a 4 year kratom user about 30 grams per day. I think it's worth mentioning that using just the amount you need for the pain relief and keeping the amount of use as low as you can and not to chase a 'high' from it. I got myself into trouble by taking too much and too often. Gotta have self control to measure the amount and try to keep the usage down because it does reach a point where the effects aren't as good anymore when you take too much. I am currently trying to get my total amount much lower and having trouble doing it. However this is a much better alternative to many pharmaceutical meds.

Hang in there Tyler. I've been taking Kratom (6 grams a day)for about 6 months for pain (white vein works best for me) and I can for certain see how easily someone could let the relief (I'm gonna call it that) urge a person to take more, then more and one day find ourselves taking 30 grams. Do what you can to slowly cut back. Even as little as a gram a week/a month could get you where you want to go IF you keep the goal up front and a priority in your life.

@@quickdeuce thanks for the kind words and I think you're right there's no shame in slowly cutting back in order to reduce the hard withdrawal symptoms. It does take alot of self control though I must say cause its so tempting on challenging days to take mega doses but just gotta take it one day at a time hell even one hour at a time.

She's been hospitalized quite a lot and she's in hospital now. They're running bunch of tests ( every time is same thing, CT , MRI, etc. ) Thankfully no surgery yet. We don't want that since the intestines can grow back bigger or worse, a colostomy bag. I mentioned to her about Kratom. Will Kratom help? Or maybe relieve some symptoms? My daughter is literally at her breaking point. This disease has taken over her life, her job and mental state of mind. Thank you, Sincerely Holly ( A very worried mom )

Not letting yourself go from being responsible to irresponsible is also your responsibility. Stop deflecting your irresponsible actions on to others so you can have an excuse for how you started abusing it. I'm in 12 step recovery program for alcohol and drugs and have this view: my alcohol and drug use have been destructive to myself and my relationships with others. Also I could never drink or drug enough and my drinking and drugging was eventually going to either kill me or land me in prison. The same hasn't been true for Kratom so far. It makes me kinder to others, I get more done in my life, complete more goals and I keep at a set amount (4.5 grams once a day). Taking more than 4.5 grams usually comes with negative side effects for me. I was prescribed 40mg of Prozac for depression and suicidal ideation back in 2014, but have cut that down to 10grams when I started taking white strain Kratom at the beginning of this year. With Kratom I feel much less depression and anxiety than I ever did with Prozac alone. I say this to say I entered 12 step recovery program because my drinking and drug use was destroying my life and was eventually going to kill me. No matter how hard I tried I always needed more to use and drink to chase the same effects and after a while the effects vanished and I was just miserable but at the same time kept using and drinking. I don't know if the same will come true for me where it concerns Kratom, but thus far I haven't seen the same issues with it I had with my alcohol and drug use. For me it's been more of a self prescribed antidepressant and my life has gotten better along with my relationships with others. Time will tell if this changes for me...

I always drink alcohol with kratom if I go to a party or something like that. It works like magic. 3 can of beer and 3,5g of white maeng da gives very intense euphoria like a small dose of MDMA. I never have any issue (stomach problem, nausea etc) with this combo. A lot of my friends doing the same. It can be a great and safe "party drug" which instantly gets you into that positive mood you seek for before a party.

You shouldn’t be teaching people that man, like for real. Because of this comment certain people are going to pick up life altering habits. Some that will have addiction issues in the future. Not cool

You are in the honeymoon phase. Give it another year or two the effects are diminishing and next to nothing.

Dude shut up. You obviously take kratom to get high. Not for it’s medical benefits. I bet u probably take 10 gram doses and keep chasing the dragon. U don’t use it correct. U abuse the plant then it will abuse u.

How much are you taking and how often a day? Also how often do you take breaks?

Thats why you take regular tolerance breaks

About 17 grams a day over a period of about 8 doses so average about 2gs per dose. Ive tried more and less but doing it for 9 years I have diminishing effects. Ive tried over 50 companies. I dont take breaks anymore but five year ago stopped to reset my tolerance for 8 months and still when I came back it was no good. There truly is a honeymoon phase like I said. After 2016 it was mostly all trash quality.

@@BotanicalQueens You're welcome. But it dosent matter what you take or amount or breaks or whether u abuse it. I took an 8 month break still had same problems. The body eventually rejects the plant or stops working. Theres still not enough research as to why. But, its a mojority opinion in long term users that after about five years it has diminishing effects.
