That was so much fun to watch! We have a Canadian Pet Expo that happened this weekend. Unfortunately, I couldn't go but I would say it was as big as Bird Mart! Large venue with all the pets! Our Parrot or Bird Expo isn't until the fall. :D Glad you all had fun and a great day!

Super fun! I'm a new follower and have fallen in love with your channel, I love how much you care about your birds and love seeing all their personalities and favorite things. I wish I could visit Bird Mart but I live too far away :/ My favorite part has to have been when you said "it's past noon, I'm awake now" oooor when Jersey got super excited meeting people! I recently got a bird of my own, though a very unconventional one. She's a pigeon, a Classic Old Frill to be exact! I love your channel and it's fun seeing the differences between parrots and pigeons, and I use your videos often to plan out training for my girl (with modifications of course; pigeons are SOO different!) and for future reference when I get a parrot one day! I can't enjoy a parrot at home right now, but there's an eclectus and harlequin macaw where I work and your videos help teach me how to interact with them! Haven't sniffed either yet, but I will one day....... Always excited for more videos :D I'm going to follow your Instagram right away, but is there anywhere I can share pictures of my bird with you guys?

MARLENE MC'COHEN trust me, you would love it. Wild cockatoos, lorikeets, galahs and so many other parrots are both native and common here! I love going to a place called lorne which is about two hours away from my house. My cousins dads family have a house there that we are allowed to stay in, and I always take my parrots. The reason I love this place so much is because it has a small balcony where sulphur crested cockatoos and king parrots often land. When I see them, I always take out a bowl of bird seed for them. I’ve been doing this for years, so the birds all act tame and will sit on your shoulder. At one point, I leant down to let a cockatoo on the ground have food, and a bunch landed all over me. There were two on my back, one on my head and two on each arm. I know that it would be a dream come true for you!

MARLENE MC'COHEN Thank you for responding! I'm a huge fan! I also meant to ask about the vet standpoint of owning a bird. I own a tortoise and it's recommended yearly check ups but really not nessasary at all, so it's commonly avoided since vet visits are so expensive!

Cheesus usually I just stay home and take care of my current pets, I really want a companion animal since my dog is ancient lol. I'm job searching so knowing my hours is difficult which is why I haven't decided on a new pet yet as all animals require individual unique attention and I don't want to keep an animal alive I want it to thrive :)
