The store owner is a good guy, I should have clarified, he wanted me to wait until I had the full amount so his partner wouldn't accidentally sell him if he wasn't aware that I put a deposit down because they work on different days:)

Tracy Allen Most birds aren't that loud or throw tantrums like many cockatoos do. Cockatiels are very quiet and mellow as an example.

Wow do some research bird tantrums aren't that bad to deal with when I had a Cuban amazon it would throw loads of tantrums and it wasn't that hard to deal with When you know birds body language and do research they are a bit easier

I kept visiting a 3 yr old CWP at my local shop. He was a bird who lost his home. He was a doll face, after learning about CWPs I knew I wouldn’t be a good owner. I felt the same way about this little guy. He was bought by a couple who had another bird. I went to visit him 6-8 times. He was a real firecracker!

My dad and sister would go to the PetCo to visit this one cockatiel named Lola. The PetCo employees would take her out of the cage away from the rest of the 'tiels and walk around with her on their shoulders because the other birds would just harass her. She was very sweet and friendly with people, although just a bit skittish, but my dad ended up getting her because she was just so affectionate. Lola suddenly died last year from sickness. It's been just over a year. His story and the way you interact with Leo reminded me of her. It tore me up in a good way. Thank you for taking care of him and sharing.

Living in UK we don't have pet stores which sell parrots in general..i got my Kakariki from a breeder. She is currently sleeping in my hair at the back of my neck. She is my life. I couldn't think of a life without her. You have helped me along the way to make her life as fun, comfortable and healthy as she deserves! Thank you for your videos and the time you take out of your EXTREMELY busy life to share your world with us. I can't even believe people would think you would be that selfish to create an account to adopt a bird...he couldn't have a better home...other than mine of course 😁 my Cheeky has her own room during our frigid winters that is always at least 65 degrees. Her cage is near a window so she can look out during the day when I'm not home. She is always out when I'm home and always attached to me like glue.
