As a performance car it's worth the money you want to sell it for. as a private seller because someone looking for a performance built car will pay you what you want nine times out of ten. dealers are all about value and blue books so Book value is really all that matter to them. but yes they probably would ask 10K for it if it was on their lot. they're not going to give it away.

I have a small Vintage/Exotic Auto Dealership here in Colorado but im not getting into my exotics but more of my Mustangs and such.. i have 2 1993 TX DPS SSP Notchback Mustangs I bought at the TX STATE POLICE AUCTION IN 94 ...BOTH HAD UNDER 35,000 MILES AND ARE MANUALS. THE CARS WERE media blasted and completely restored with correct livery..I do have a VORTECH S-Trim GT40 347ci and Magnum Tremec T56 in one and the other is a Coyote Swap with a Procharger set up and a Mag T56 as well.. I have a 2000 Cobra R with 3100 miles aa well as a 1999 Performance Red Cobra with a Paxton Centrifugal S/C 18psi system..with less than 1500 miles.. i have 7 other SSP Notchbacks from CHP and NM STATE POLICE IM BUILDING..I HATE HATCHBACK FOX BODIES BUT THE 88 TO92 Notchbacks are my favorite Mustangs..I still have my 1 of 2 built 1992 Saleen Supercharged Coupes made which my pop bought me new for my 17th Bday in 1992.. No need to keep on but I do have over 40 mustangs from 1987 to 2015...Some are parts cars and others are both collectors and drivers.. if parts are ever needed...I have them. I just sent a 04 Terminator to Starcross U.K. just outside of London.

Hey man find the canbus wires from your old body harness and connect them to the new Ford racing harness. Your gauges will work except for your mph and possibly your oil besides that everything else will work and when you get a check engine light it will pop up like normal

No where near 17k tho, id say a clean 03-04 cobra for 15-18k with good miles and would retain its value, the problem is with the 99-04 Stang doesn't hold much value when it comes to dumping performance parts in them. I had a 03 gt Stang with 90k miles a vortech supercharger,accufab intake, throttle body, cobra fuel rails, injectors, headers, full basani exhaust with x pipe, sct tuner, short shifter, cobra bumper and wheels, satin black wrap, steeda spoiler, and I sold it for 9k a year ago clean title, dyno at 477whp at 8-10lbs boost. 1st,2nd on 285s was useless, 3rd hooked and pulled hard!! As much as I like the sn95 especially with a coyote you are crazy to think that it’s worth that much. If that’s your price, better to keep it than regret losing something you worked on or had built up. That’s a classic, I’m keeping both of mine (sn95 and s197) and plan on getting another. Hoping to get something in the 60s!

Fast Ford more reliable haven't seen any newer 5.0s with 400,000 miles on it a lot of LS 5.3 and 6.0s and if the ford motor is so great why do LS motors out sell them 1000 to 1 my friend owns a speed shop he has sold 100s of intakes and carb setups with MSD boxes for them not one for a new 5.0 he has them for 5.0 it's been sitting on a shelf for over a year must be the swap is more popular have 3 friend with fox bodies all have LS swaps one runs 10.2 on motor one other has a junk yard 5.3 with a 200 hit of nitrous runs 9.90s and why don't you see gm or dodge swapped with new 5.0 engines
