Yo DJ Peck! Looking really nice as always! Love your tips and builds, especially as you're always changing it up, keeping it fresh. Just a little tip for you regarding your videos which will save you a lot of time and especially computer power and stress that accompanies it. As a pro video editor myself I know that you don't need to export and upload your videos in 4K, just stick with 1080p exports, seriously. From my experience, nobody cares for 4K unless you're professionally shooting stuff which would benefit from the extra resolution like landscapes, wildlife, real estate etc - and then only if the footage has been color corrected and graded and has been shot using lenses worth thousands attached to cameras worth thousands attached to track and dolly or steadicams, in purpose lit scenarios using high-end lighting equipment etc etc. Without all or most of the above your footage will look good, but will barely make any difference at all being 4K, it's not easy to notice - 1080 for your stuff is honestly the way to go. I love that you're documenting your gigs and everything that goes with it and I promise I'm not trying to be a dick but I'm just experienced in this stuff and have been just before the video data became digital. There might have been a time where watching something in 4K was exciting when it was first coming out, but seriously not anymore for content of this nature on KZbin. You want amazing looking videos, I get that but exporting in 4K isn't it. Now shooting in 4K and exporting in 1080 is a different story. This gives you the option to crop your video without losing quality up to 4X. So for your nicely presented stuff that perhaps you think you didn't frame particularly well, if you were shooting it on your own for example then you're able to frame it properly in post. This is where shooting in 4K for this application shines. If you don't need to do that then just shoot 1080p and you'll save time, computer storage, CPU power and you'll have more time on your hands to do other things. Hopefully you're compressing your videos a little too on the exports, you can really push compression if you know how and it'll still look virtually the same. Thanks my brother from another Cool Mother.. I’ve been using my both my white setup and black setups for all my events outside of night Club events.. The size and mobility is perfect compared to all my partners $4k large, bulky, 1 size fit all setups 😅.. This setup simply replaces my Flight Case in a much sophisticated and stylish way.. Amazing! Can you talk a little about the different stands/legs? Particularly the podium style one you briefly showed? How do you secure it to desk portion so it doesn’t slide around?

Sure. With the Rockville totem, there is a fixture attachment in the center. I just put a hole in the booth that correspond to that hole and use an appropriate screw to affix it to the totem. I also use industrial strength Velcro, but use at your risk :) It doesn’t slide around

Hey DjLorenzoexp I had to modify the monoprice stand. I cut it at the base and attached it to the sub pole mount…you need to put a hole through the mount to attach it.

I got the desk off of ebay last week, except they put grommet hole in the middle of the desk. I'm not handy at all. Right now I'm having trouble making the hole for my controller to fit in. The hold I cut is crooked. I hope I can make it look straight after I Gaff tape the edges. Wish me luck

Thanks. I don’t think so. I have techniques and a mixer home and I believe this is a tad small I also think that would be extremely heavy…I use to bring my turntables on the LIRR (train) to NYC for gigs and that was a monster
