Hey Captmoonbeam as always great video and I hope that you and your wife had a wonderful time in Nassau. That beach that you flew over during your approach brings back alot of memories. My best friend that I grew up with in Nassau his father was in charge of the Air Traffic Control facilities in Nassau and he would host a big barbecue party on that beach for pilots and controllers from the US, Europe , and the Caribbean every summer. I always looked forward to that event every summer in July as a young boy.

FSI policy is that recording of any kind - classroom or sim - is forbidden and you can lose your 'full service' agreement if you do so. Some instructors may let you do it, but it's at the risk of their jobs if management wanted to make a point.

Hi, love your vlogs. When I joined my company in the 1980's we had our own avaition division. Our fleet was a King Air B200, a B100 and a Lear 28 plus 2 or 3 small single engine planes I never paid attention to. In addition we were the FBO at our airport. As an executive (not a pilot) we only flew the King Airs or the Lear and never without 2 pilots in uniforms. Our insurance company had strict rules about the pilots and didn't even like it when we had more than 4 officers on a flight. I noticed in one of you vlogs you took a plane like 6 hours by yourself. I am amazed. With all due respect you're my age what if you had a medical emergency?
@captmoonbeam6 жыл бұрын
In the Citation M2. The guy I work for, who often sits in back, is typed in the aircraft and current. In the Caravan it's often the same case. Sometimes I'll reposition and be the only person on-board. In that case, I'm on my own. For good or bad more aircraft manufacturers are building single pilot jets and it's getting to be more common.
@dbqdude75ify6 жыл бұрын
captmoonbeam I understand the cost savings in pilot cost, salaries, layover expenses for pilots and planes when we have a multiday layover. I am the CFO for the parent company and fortunately we have the resources to maintain our staff of pilots. I would never fly from Iowa to Anchorage with one pilot. It is a coincidence that we sold the King Air 100 and replaced it with a Citation 525 a few years ago. Well, I wish you the best and keep making your videos.
