hahaha Yeah I was convinced the grooming machine was done... it would go quiet then I'd hear it again an hour later lol. Definitely makes me respect and appreciate how much WORK needs to be done for the pistes to be ski-able day after day after day!! Thanks Jimmy!!

Exactly that thrill and the slope to myself made it all worth it ! The camp itself was super enjoyable too ,

Great scenes ⛷️ and a little bit against the rules which deserves extra kudos 👏🏻
@EzeAdventurer10 ай бұрын
Thanks so much ! According to the locals I consulted with, it's not against the rules to camp as it's not a nature reserve area. Fires aren't allowed but I wasn't able to source gas there and I figured a contained fire in a wood stove would be reasonable.. Anyway glad you liked the adventure buddy

Fantastic, childhood dreams right there. Damaged my knee many years ago skiing powder show under/near a chair lift in Kitzbuhel that was the end of my skiing, right ski tip dug in to a soft spot and spun me round…..hurt like hell, or should I say still hurts like hell..😀

Mr sneaky Eze 😂 I thought you would keep low profile and not make a fire , what was I thinking 😅 I was wondering how you would go out without being asked any questions , well no problemo it seems ... thanks for the video !
@EzeAdventurer10 ай бұрын
Haha I didn't find any gas canisters in the ski resort so I kinda didn't have much choice... I figured for water purification and cooking, was kinda essential. I think the wood stove does an amazing job at containing the fire and avoiding damage to the ground etc.

That was a really cool video Eze! Which Alps was this? Did the altitude bother you? It sounded like you were huffing and puffing a bit when you went to get the firewood. There’s nothing like being the first one down the slope in the morning. My dad and I would get to the ski area (Vermont) before they even opened for the day so we could be first in the lift and first ones down. We were season ticket holders at the same place for many many years so we got a little bit of special treatment lol
