Over the past month I've been dreaming/planning/hoping for a day just like this one and so glad you shared it with us! I have a 23' center console and appreciate you sharing so many tips. Sharing the gear you use and the knots and everything else has been extremely useful and the fact you go offshore on your boat alone means that I can do it, too, with proper preparation and training and just taking it one step at a time. Thank You from a grateful subscriber who kept watching you because of the way you end each video... grateful to our creator for this wonderful inheritance!!

Thank you for sharing this video with us. It was nice watching a video with ZERO cussing! Thank you for the ‘G’ rated content. I’m in Colorado and I am just getting back into fishing after a couple years off(been busy getting married having kids and then getting divorced) so I have been needing to get out and enjoy Gods beautiful creations and let nature help me heal. I wish I could go with you on a fishing adventure like that. You the man!

Freshwater Bass Fisherman here. I honestly did not know that it would be so easy to hand tie a Haywire Twist with wire. I thought it would take at least some pliers to hold it as well as twist it but you did it so quickly. 👍 A Guide in the Keys taught me how to tie a Bimini Twist while fishing for Tarpon & Bonefish and I've used it for heavy Catfish but never wire. I enjoy your videos as soon as you post them. 🤙

Nice work! I love catching Cobia. I fish NE FL Atlantic waters. I've caught several less than a mile offshore following manta rays in April-May. They're anywhere from 1 mile offshore to 60 miles offshore here. About 12 years ago they were everywhere here but we've noticed a steep decline in their population recently. We aren't allowed to keep red snapper here, and they're literally everywhere. It's beyond frustrating. Keep up the good work! Love the channel and content!!

@13:20 Delicious fish... the crab eating shark, firm meat flavor is a cross between lobster and shrimp. @19:29 start your skin removal about a "steaks length" away from the tail end, so when you've removed the fillet, go back and slice off the end piece which is the size you cut the rest of the fillet into... just sayin'...
