My favorite laksa is Sarawak laksa 👍 Anthony Bourdain called Sarawak laksa the “breakfast of the Gods.”
@hussmeister6 ай бұрын
It really is a nice tasting Laksa and I’m glad that you like it also ☺️I like Anthony Bourdain, he was my favorite food presenter and if he labelled it breakfast of the Gods then it must be 😎

Borneo countryside is amazing of course. Flying over Borneo you can see just how vast the forests are and you can only imagine the amount of animals in there.

The white rajah story is one of a kind. The people actually loved them and regards to the king as their ruler. The thing is, they didnt come to colonised, but they actually grew the place and Sarawak was actually an independent country during their reign while the rest of Malaysia was still under colonisation by the british empire. The white rajah was not a part of the british empire themselves.

Hello friend thank you for your contribution. This is such a fascinating history and story. I plan to talk more about the White Raj story in an upcoming vlog because it deserves more attention.

Great video! Great city! Do you have to be a "cat person" to really enjoy Kuching?? 😉
@hussmeister6 ай бұрын
You don’t need to be a cat person. You could be a wildlife lover, foodie, or culture enthusiast. It caters for all ☺️

You should peel off the paper at the base of the pow/ dumpling before you consume it... but guess it's all good. Welcome to Kuching

Hello friend 👋 Thanks for the advice 😆 I realised a little later on after I ate abit of it 🤣

Funny when you said that Kuching is so clean. It is, to my knowledge, the 11th cleanest city in the world in terms of air quality index by a Swiss air quality technology company, IQAir. It is also dubbed one of ten cleanest cities in Malaysia by the ASEAN Tourism Standard Awards Council. Not to toot my own horn as a local Kuchingnite, but I'm going to toot my own Hornbill, forgive the pun.

Hello friend 👋🏼 As an Australian the cleanliness of Kuching is instantly noticable and I’m jealous ☺️ Australia was clean like Kuching once upon a time. Thanks for the info about the air quality, I never knew about it. You Kuchingnite’s have a winning formula ✌️Love the hornbill pun 😂

which city you like kuching, jakarta, bandung, semarang, jogja?
@hussmeister6 ай бұрын
Hello my friend. The cities are all very different and have their strengths. So far I think I can live in Bandung because of the cooler weather and greenery. I can also live in Kuching because it is very well organised. The other cities I would love to go back and enjoy a holiday in them because they are friendly and full of interesting history ☺️✌️
