HI BBY! In today's what I eat in a week I tracked my calories for a week, to see how many calories I eat in a week as an intuitive eater... and it was a JOURNEY lol!! As always, I included lots of easy and healthy recipes, including vegan cinnamon roll baked oatmeal, healthy blueberry muffins, and lots of quick and realistic meals I love to eat as a busy college student :)

Recipes mentioned:
Blueberry NiceCream:
-1.5 frozen bananas
-1 cup frozen blueberries
-1 tbsp almond butter
-1/8 cup almond milk
Brownie Granola:
-3 cups rolled oats
-1/3 cup cocoa powder
-1/2 cup maple syrup
-1/4 cup coconut oil
-1/2 cup almond butter
-1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Mix all ingredients, press firmly into a pan and bake at 350 for 20-25 min. Let cool for 10 min then break into clusters!
Cookie Dough Nice Cream:
-2 frozen bananas
-1 tbsp peanut butter
-1 tbsp cacao nibs
-1/8 cup almond milk
Peanut Sauce:
-1 tbsp peanut butter
-1 tbsp water
-sweet chili sauce to taste
-squeeze of lemon juice
-coconut aminos to taste
-garlic powder to taste
-salt & pepper
Zac Efron´s Vegan Curry recipe: pCCiHNY6j4...
Vegan Pesto Recipe:
-2 cups fresh basil
-1/3 cup olive oil
-a few tbsp water to blend
-2 cloves of garlic
-1/4 cup pine nuts
-salt & pepper

Yes please please please making a video on how to start intuitive eating. I’ve been struggling with food for more than half a year now.. and every single time I thought I healed from it, I fell right back in restrictions and calorie counting obsession. I’d love to hear about your story and hopefully finally find a way to let go of food obsession and live a happy and healthy life

Yessss! I was doing so well but then started gaining weight so I fell right back into the counting trap. I feel like I can’t escape! I’m almost 30 and still struggling.

Yes I’m in the same situation, I would think I’m finally improving but I would then end up falling back into my restrictive habits and the cycle continues :(

It's crazy how time-consuming counting calories can be, I used to obsess over 1 gram on the food scale and spent hours pre-planning my foods in advance.

One thing that is so helpful about your channel, is that usually when intuitive eaters track calories they seem to always eat around 1700-2000 and very rarely eat above that. At least most of the ones I’ve seen. It’s comforting to know you don’t do hours of exercise every day, and eat more than 2000 cals day. Glad to know I’m not the only one with the same appetite 😂

I feel so identify with your videos. Like year and half ago I was obsessed with calorie count, I didn't eat at night and I didn't even enjoyed many of the things I was eating. I got so bad, my mood was the worst, I lost so much energy and I was sad almost all the time. I got so used to that to the point I was scared to eat. But thankfully I found the way out and know I enjoy eating so much, seeing this makes me feel that I'm not alone and I have someone that understand everything I felt. Thank you so so much for making videos 😍

Thank you so much for showing realistic portion sizes and normalizing getting seconds and being more hungry on some days. Also thank you for normalizing eating around 2,500 cal or more in a day as a young woman, even when "only" working out two times in a week. I'm currently trying to gain weight and your videos really help me to deal with my increased hunger . Thank you for promoting a healthy relationship with food!

I promptly decided to stop counting calories a few weeks back because I was hating the way I was living, but I honestly still can't stop thinking about it. I can't stop myself from secretly peeking at labels or counting in my head since I roughly know all the numbers by heart anyway :( I would love if you shared more about your intuitive eating journey💓💓

As I sat and watched this, hungry and contemplating eating something. I’m in recovery from an ED and I’ve been trying to intuitively eat. You inspired me to go and get myself what I was craving. YES to the intuitive eating video! I'm trying to intuitively eat but after months of tracking, it's hard to let go of my brain counting calories 'by default' without calculators. Would be great to learn how you let go of food obsession and found a healthy balance. Also please make a video on how to stop overexercising and the feel of guilt when you don't move all day but still eat a lot.

you are seriously so inspiraitonal to me. i am only 16 but for as long as i can remember i have always worried about calories and my body, which leads me to eat even more unhealthy foods because when i eat ' too many' calories i decided i may as well eat everything. this video really has made me see its not the calories but the type of food you are eating. i love you so much and keep being you :))

you should track your macros for a week!! and average it out at the end to see if intuitive eating gives you good macros!

Oh my gosh I looked at your meals and was just exclaiming pure joy because when I track, I’ll eat big meals as well! I feel like we have a similar body type so this felt so nice to see! Hearing you work out only 2 days a week and eating normally is so nice, because I injured my foot and can‘t do HIIt workouts for the time being and want to eat less because I move less 🥺

i'm struggling with not having control over what i eat, counting calories was turning into an obsession and i felt i needed to quit. Now I feel i'm always "over my calories" which is completely stupid cause no calculator should tell me how much i should be eating, but this kind of videos help me way too much, and everyday I'm a little bit closer to achieve food freedom. for the rice dish you should try letting it cool down first in the pot and then flip it over saw they did this in a cooking show to help preserve the shape!! hope this helps xoxo

You seem very active which means this amount of food is a great source of energy for you and your lifestyle. For someone who has a desk job, I need to be mindful of my energy intake as I don’t burn it off as I am sitting down a large portion of the day so if I did eat this amount, while amazing, I would gain weight! So for days I am more active I eat more! :)

Oh I would love to see a video about intuitive eating! I'm an intuitive eater for like a year but still, some days I feel bad for eating so much food. Especially now, I'm so busy with school that I just can't work out really. My physical energy level is low, because I need it all for studying. So I can't really move and still I feel like I am even more hungry than usually... It doesn't happen as often anymore but still, as I said, some days I feel bad...

I totally agree with everything you said! I started counting calories almost 6 months ago but more to keep track of what i am eating. I just eat a small breakfast and dinner and in between soo many sweets and snacks. So very unhealthy (I didn’t do any sports). Seeing how many calories this snacks added up to made me realize I could eat so much more for breakfast and even lunch. I don‘t feel triggered at all by counting calories (even if i ate 200 calories more than i should I keep eating) but of course everyone is different.

This morning I just made homemade banana pancakes 1egg 1banana 2tbsp rising flour 1/4tsp baking powder vanilla essence Add all into a jug mash it until smooth then put it in a oiled pan then flip when browned this recipe will make 2 and 1/2 pancakes

I will love a video on how to begin intuitive eating 🥺🥺 after years of restrictions and dieting I finally want to heal my relationship with food. I’ve been reverse dieting for a few months but I really want to just stop counting calories and macros and finally eat without fear but I’m also scared to gain a ton of weight and loose control over food :( And just how you said in the video the counting takes so much time and also mental space that could be used having fun hahaha I would love to know your approach and tips on how to begin intuitive eating Abrazos!

I agree I was thinking addicted to calorie counting but sometimes felt guilty now I calculated it today for fun and kinda surprise but some days I eat less or more as long as I feel good eating food I want to eat

I tought I would be triggered by the calorie tracking, bc similar like you I had a lot of struggles in the past with tracking calories and had a bad relationship with food. But it was okay :). This shows me I`m at a much better place now and I can finally eat the foods which nourish me instead of being afraid of them. I`m still not 100% but I`m doing good! Food is amazing! :)
