hey there, hopefully I can add to the journey by sharing my insight, i am an asc player now but i had relatively the same journey as you, i speedran to plat over an act just by improving my mechanics alone, ranking up from plat will take A LOT more game sense than you anticipate and way less mechanics, you've got it in you to get further, i would advise watching coach content or maybe make a mini series with a coach to reallly help you improve and hopefully not get stuck in the plat elo hell, great video and best of luck going further!

Very late but here's a pretty useful tip I learned from a radiant player if you struggle with crosshair placement. Like die because your crosshair wasn't pre-aimed well. you can hop into a DM and you and try out a DM where your sole focus is just crosshair placement. helped me might not help you but eh it's and idea that's it that's all

I think the only way to rank up really quickly is to be absurdly better than the people you are playing with. Having a really solid 55% win rate means you are supposed to win 55 out of 100, but in reality you could lose 55 out of 100 even with that win rate because of sample size and variance. It's really frustrating, the only way to make sure you rank up fast is to have a 70+ winrate which would make you an ascendant smurf in a silver lobby lol.
