Wow this wild, I find that very interesting that a boxer with good movement is something that you’d find hard to deal with, maybe if they have a base knowledge in karate or takewondo, but very interesting and awesome vid

Bro this is awesome, to see his explanation of his first ufc fight and the core strength it takes to throw half hook and then the head kick with the same side is crazy. The creativity. What an experience always good to see you learning on the mats, and with the WonderBoy at that.

I'm only 10 minutes in, and I'm already enamored by WB's breakdown of his style. What he's saying makes perfect sense, and even after watching for years, I didn't understand why he did certain things. Incredibly high-level questions by MM as well. Great video!
@inherentlyincoherentАй бұрын
This was legit one of the best videos I've seen in regards to a ufc fighter breaking down their techniques and the nuances of their style. You asked some really good questions as well, helped us learn more about Wonderboy's mindset and psychology around the game. The enthusiasm you have for sport is infectious, and it was fun watching you try out what he was showing you. Good job Martial. Been watching you for a while, since the ufc 2 days, I haven't been tuning in as much lately since I grew quite tired of EA's ufc, but this content is gold. I know opportunities like this don't exactly fall out of the sky, but I'd love to see more content like this, you're really good at it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to watch brother! I really really appreciate it. I’m going to do my best to connect with more fighters and God willing, I’ll be able to produce this content at least once a month. Thanks again man.

The Mind in Martial is not for nothin, he picked up the sidekick almost in an instant AND came prepared to talk with one of the most gifted strikers. The little nuances Wonderboy explained does get ignored often and even had me like "Ohhhhh... see that's smart!". Wonderboy is just a cool dude. The snap of his kicks is crazy.... or that stab with the toes sound sharp. Free lessons and a great chat plus the hospitality by Wonderboy is such an experience man. Great, great video.

This was awesome man. I still remember a few years back Wonderboy commenting on one of your vids where you featured his as the fighter. He's not only a fantastic martial artist, but he seems like such a genuinely nice human being. It's cool that he spends so much of his free time giving back to the karate and teaching local kids the martial art as well. He is one of the best representatives we have for mixed martial arts as a whole, he's a legend!

Hey bro, been watching your channel since I got into UFC 4 a while ago. I got UFC 5 on launch and stopped playing not long after, but still watch your content occasionally. I can honestly say that this is my favourite video of yours. I LOVE when you discuss the subtle techniques, styles, and overall art aspect of fighting with fighters. That’s what draws me and a lot of other fans to MMA. If this became your primary content, I would watch every single video. Please do more of these with every fighter you can.

Wow! Incredible segment. The layering of Wonderboy's strategic thinking while in combat is so impressive and fascinating, and his explanations are so articulate. Perfect guy to do this kind of segment with, and his charisma is effortless, too. For your part Martial, bravo. This is without a doubt my favorite MMA interview ever. Nobody ever goes into this kind of depth on the nuts and bolts of the actual combat and the thinking behind it. This is a niche nobody has cornered and it's GOLD content. Please make more!
