I think you should keep that side table the way it is. You can maybe change the knob by painting it or replacing it. Adds color in that corner.

Very cool thrifting stores!! I'm not usually a fan of 70's furniture but that round end table is super cool!! I would definitely paint it to go with my decor. I would love if MN had a craft thrift store!! A person could diy those Disney items using PVC pipes. Great for hair and garden tools!

I love the way you find something then show us immediately what you transform it into. Other channels show the whole haul and then transform which is not as interesting to watch. I like your round end table. It is interesting how you say " grab" all the time. Not something we say where I live. We say "pick -up" or "buy"

I was thinking that glass bowl was too expensive for a thrifted item but it has a lot of workmanship into it. Love the colour you spray painted it in. It just elevated it. You had some good finds.That was not a wasted journey at all. Leave the colour of the table.

Whether you sand it or leave it depends on the effect you want with all the light colors in the pieces and on the wall. IMO, sanding would make it blend in with everything around it. Leaving it dark makes it stand out. 🙂

Thank you for not painting the little clock. It's Walnut. I typically do not like watching thrifting videos, but for some reason I chose to watch yours. I'm so happy I did. Thank you for mixing it up with what you did with each find instead of just you slowly walking down each aisle picking up stuff and putting it back until you find something good. Next time we head to KC on an IKEA trip, I will have to check out Scraps KC. That store looks like a blast to visit.

I absolutely loved that piece of wavy glass, the sort of light sea-glass color that you put in your kitchen. I could see so many uses for it right away, and now I WANT some. I love the end table the dark color it is because the room is so light anyway that it made a nice dark accent piece besides being useful.

How fun! When Alain and I get to take a trip home (It's been a while because of Covid), we always take at least one side trip, and I always make some time to do a day of thrifting or yard sales wherever we find ourselves at! Thrifting is my favorite thing my mother took me thrifting when I was a child she redid things reuse things and made them look brand new again we always had unique different clothes to wear pants shoes my mother decorated her house with it beautifully so I do mine also carrying on the tradition I tell my girls let somebody else pay that full price

I love the Habitat Restore! Mine is small, but I've never walked out empty-handed. They have a 25 cent room - frames, glassware, books and random things. I recently stumbled on a BRAND NEW island light fixture retailing for $800 for $50! I bought it and I don't even have an island, but it was gorgeous and 94% off retail!
