Travelling in style..reminds me when I was working at summer camp in France and my flight to Marseille was cancelled last minute then I had to take train, bus, hostel stay in London, bus again, ferry to Calais, bus to Paris, night bus to Lyon, early train to Draguignan, then a taxi to camp… Tiring but those kind of adventures are amazing when you look back! Respect! You willingly chose to do that for us! Top reporter 😊

In Munich you got to visit 1860 Munich - the lions. The fans are divided between the president on the one side and the investor on the other side. They´re giving each other a hard time. 1860 is 3.rd tier and a couple of years ago had more fans in Munich than Bayern.

As someone from the north east of England you are bang on with the connection to Scotland, the people are more similar in mindset to southern Englanders. My family roots are from Scotland and have worked in both countries, I’ve always experienced more of a bond between northerners and Scottish in my line of work (working class manual work on sites) The ferry from Shields was always a cheap way to get to Holland but the prices for a cabin have drastically hiked up in the last 2-3 years but it’s always a great and fun way to travel. All the best with the channel, keep smashing it and enjoy the euros !

Was at every Scotland game at the Euro’s and for coming home we decided to get the train back to Edinburgh from Stuttgart. Our route was Stuttgart-Cologne-Brussels-London-Edinburgh on the train. Tired but worth it.

I hitchhiked from Glasgow to Munich once, getting a ferry across the channel and a train from Ostend to Amsterdam and the rest by thumb. It took 4 days. In fact I wasn't heading to Munich, that was just on route to Innsbruck.
