😅 So glad you enjoyed it! For Thrill of the Fight, it was actually a complete accident when trying to record from the Steam version of the game. For Knockout league, I just filmed from the headset :)

How do you deal with the sweating not ruining parts of the headset? Unrelated, but JRTs are the best dogs ever in my experience. What’s her name?

The sweating won't ruin the headset. It could cause fogging on the lenses, and more so on the Quest 2 than the Quest 3. Using different specialized facial inlays help a lot. For the Quest 2, I use VRcover. For Quest 3 there's not much available yet, so I just use a washable cover. The most important part is to fit the headset properly, tilting it upward to seal the forehead and try to avoid perspiration from entering from below. I also use different headstraps that are easy to wipe down/clean. And yes - JRTs are the best!!! My little girl is Millie (7), and this is the final video that also includes my soulmate Milo (15)💜💜

for a headset you mean? Either Quest 2 or Quest 3. They have the same software, so it's the same setup, games/apps, etc. PlayStation is likely similar in ease of use, but you would need a PS5 and the headset on top of that, so it gets more expensive, and it's not wireless.

How does your pass through not look as grainy as mine, is the grain not noticeable on this video?

There are a few reasons why the video might look different. From what I understand, the recording will always look better because of where the camera is. I also set my camera settings to the highest resolution possible for the best recording quality. Lighting has a big influence on passthrough, and when I record, I have 3 bright lights on me. I also use some colour correction and post-processing in the edits to clean it up a little :)

I like mixed reality.. but I want it to feel like I stepped into the digital world. lol need my whole room covered. Does quest 3 do that? Because I’ll get it, but I’m not feeling the mixed reality that much

I totally get it - a lot of people feel the same way. And yes, Quest 3 is still a virtual reality headset, so it can do both. All the games on this list also have full VR options. I have a new video that shows the best VR apps of 2024 as well if you're interested :)

As in the battery life of the Quest 3? I've never had any issues with it, other than it not having as long a life as Quest 2 which makes sense because of the improved output needing more power. I have a neck power bar from Zyber to increase the playtime (you can see it in a few of the games) and I took 2 or 3 breaks to re-charge the headset during this filming (it was along day lol). It recharges quite quickly. I hope that answered your question :)
