I used to wanna do this with someone. But I picture it in the very begging of a relationship on a picnic in a open field with beautiful flowers and just staring into each others eyes the whole time and talk for hours about the questions. Lol I’m a hopeless romantic

I believe the searching is about having a connection, a real connection with someone. I would take a date with You first in a regular place and talk about anything and if we find we like the first then can continue with the questions in the place You are mentioning in your comment

Dialogues like this are opportunities to be vulnerable and transparent. Definitely something that can draw two people closer. Pursuing meaningful conversation is key but maintaining a fun loving spirit is as well. 💖

Totally agree, especially as you get into the "why" behind the answers. With these questions, the amount of value you get out of them depends upon the effort you put in to answering them (as is with relationships themselves). One-word answers leave no room to engage in dialogue, and more importantly, doesn't convey transparency, nor does it convey a true understanding of oneself. These questions can teach us just as much about ourselves as we learn from the person sitting across from you.
@plmolnwtr3 жыл бұрын
If you go into it with scepticism, you won’t get anything out of it. I feeling like the questions are there to see how good of a communicator you are, and whether or not your way of communicating & being vulnerable gels with the other person. I find men who are willing to be vulnerable very attractive, and maybe some people don’t.

I have actually tried this, but definitely not on the first date lmao. Did it together as kind of a joke after dinner, and we kinda just stopped in the middle of the questions to talk about other stuff. However, it was quite a good way of getting to know each other.

I have a question. I'm a person that hides my emotions, and I feel like I missed out on an opportunity on love because it wasn't until after I moved that really made me realize, yes you do like him. I can't stop thinking about how I could have changed they way things went and I always picture me re doing things. I'm going to move back to that same place someday but he might not be there. How do I get over this feeling so I can try to maybe, like someone else
@lizziedoesthings14504 жыл бұрын
I'm in the same boat as you (except he's the one who has moved but it might not be too far). I don't know if I'll see him again and it makes me think about whether I'll find someone else, and whether I'll be able to feel the same about them. I don't know what to tell you except to never lower important standards you have, and that before pursuing a relationship, you should be sure in yourself. I hope you are doing well!

Thank you for sharing! I absolutely agree these conversations and communication skills are needed in learning yourself with your person! Friends and love ones! There is another questioner that asks to describe 4 different things and breaks down how your person communicates how they view life relationships. Which I need to find and share with you. Not sure if is a test by therapist or specialist. Heard on a podcast with Connie Whitney with Dan Levey.
@samiam51894 жыл бұрын
Found the test by Sigmund Freud. I feel that you your person would converse. Opening communication not a hierarchy or find commonalities. 1st ask what is your favorite animal and it doesn't need to be animals currently with. Give 3 adjectives of that animal pick.2nd favorite clothing and 3 adjectives why, 3rd favorite body of water (be specific where and name) give 3 adjectives why, 4th a window is open and feel a breeze what adjectives describe the feeling. 1st describe how you views yourself, 2nd describe how you think others views you, 3rd describe how you view sex, 4th describe how you view death. Let me know if this works or make sense. Nothing to break up relationship but looking interesting into ourselves. Good luck!

When I was adolescent for the first time I made boyfriend who was bit elder than me who was primed to get marry with me. At that time I was redundant. More on that I felt reluctant. I went aboard to do work after that we still kept contact in social media. He was possessive that the one reason I have abnegate. It’s virtually 4 years I didn’t make boyfriend merely he is married and have 3 years daughter also. After breakup I even didn’t keep contact with him. He has illumine my life. Life is all about love. Be altruistic, be impeccable,

I tried these questions with my boyfriend after like a couple months of dating (though we were friends for a few months before we started dating). I love questions and finding things out about him, he wasn't as interested in doing it, but it was fun! We learnt a lot more about each other, even though we knew each other very well before doing the questions. I wouldn't say it helped us fall in love or was the reason we fell in love, but it was definitely a fun thing to do together!
