I Tried 50 Skateboard Brands, here’s what I learned!

I also had over 50 different decks over the past 6 years or so. What i've found out is that it doesn't actually fucking matter what you get lol. I used to think that fresh decks are better. Regardless sometimes i would break them within first few sessions. I used to shit on Dwindle, they chipped like crazy, made in China etc. I stopped caring some time ago, instead of paying 260-300zl (65-75$/60-70€) for fresh, most recent boards i'm just buying whatever +/-, with some reasearch but still... I skated a few 1-2+ years old decks and they were totally fine, lasted some time and didn't break, not sure about losing stiffness. Some Dwindle, some HLC and a few other big woodshops. You can get a Jart deck, or really anything a little older for around 180zl (45$/40€). I've started to think that maybe the glue has time to settle in? If a board is stored properly it will be fine. All to all it doesn't matter, sometimes they just break

@@DHunter_47 You will have a very different idea of the ideas in the story if you are on the king james version. there are a lot of translation mistakes. A lot of key points can't even be said to mean the say the same things the original said. the idea that christians don't believe in the old testament is one error. that's not how it was in Latin, and the catholics cleared it up a long time ago. All of this doesn't make god more or less real. He still isn't real.

I loved Yeah Boardshop! I still have a few of the pin buttons with their logo. I used to take the train as a kid to Bartlett and skate my new setup at the park nearby. Those were the days 😢

I’m currently collecting random decks, trucks and wheels to try out and see if I can tell any sort of difference. And also figure out which of these fancy new technologies suits me after taking a 20 year “break”

Agree on the Zero being crap! Saved 2 months as a kid for one, first kickflip I snap the tail…never again! The Sean Malto is most likely a Flip, they tend to be very flat

My experience is: Find a brand with a shape and feel that you like and try to stick with it. Consistency is key. Some are more shaped, some have more or less concave, some have steeper or mellower tails/noses. Its all personal preference. And even within the same company, each line of production may have differences. Ive skated dozens of decks and several deck brands over the years. My takeaway is that theyre all good if YOU feel good on them. The big thing is that sometimes you get a deck that just doesnt hold up, and that can be from any company. The wood isnt right or the press on them was botched or theyre warped or they might even snap on the first day. And some brands you just wont like the shape and feel of. My major issue was always with the $30 ATM boards. Ive had 3, and they all felt like cardboard right out the gate. And 2 snapped within a week.

I have usually heard good reviews of atm boards, though I’ve never personally had one. Grimple stix are under the deluxe umbrella (real, antihero, krooked, etc) and are bbs wood

Black label boards are good, probably so flat bc it’s so narrow. They cut off all the concave. Flatter boards feel better when you get old

Creature/Santa Cruz are pressed by dsm/dwindle (almost, enjoi, madness, blind, etc) they are good boards

Ngl I'd ride the hell outta most of em but if I had to choose I'd say the girl board but I love the Grimple stixx and the Sean Malta board I always wanted to ride those as a kid mainly for design they had that dr suess type of art that I always thought was cool

I've always been a zero guy except for the time Taber coats the owner of eastern border gave me a girl board and it seemed like every time I went skating with that girl board I got hit by a car so I switched back to zero and I never got hit by a car again but I did get hit by a semi truck but I blame that one the fact that I was pushing my luck lol 🤙🏻🚬🤬💿🤪💾💿💀☠️🩼🚀🛹🎱📹📼👽
