"Diversity of movement" I really appreciate that phrase! Just hearing it was paradigm-shifting for me. I have quit our couch, chairs and bed recently (thank you for inspiration!) and, as a trucker, I definitely need more diversity of movement if I'm going to keep up with my kids at all!

Wow this is so great to hear Dave!! Especially as a trucker (my dad was a trucker and I only realize looking back how over time he lost his mobility b/c he primarily woudl just sit and drive) it's soo important to make sure the rest of your time is structured in a way that helps with mobility! I'm so glad you talked about the time it takes for the table to switch heights and what you do in the meantime because that was one of my concerns. I just don't feel like waiting haha. But I do also have a hanging bar so playing around with that while you wait is a great idea. I do also have a treadmill desk but I realized I can't do computer work while walking because I get motion sickness haha but I have seen lots of people use it successfully. Now I'm trying to take walks every half hour to every hour so it's still useful. I hope you can get one to test out! You mentioned this is the only electric floor to sit to stand desk. Do you know of a manual one? Cuz that would be super cool.

I went to look at Uppeal as I like the idea of being able to work on the floor (though still new to the floor sitting movement, yes pun intended!). I figured I would try my uplift and see how far it goes. Turns out I don't need to spend more money, I can use what I already have. Win, win! This is so random but what socks are you wearing haha, you mentioned in a previous video that you switched to barefoot shoes (would love a vid on this by the way) and was wondering what the socks to wear with barefoot shoes are. Great video by the way 😊

I have toe socks! Everyone thinks I’m weird but it’s so great bc my feet don’t get sweaty and my toes can easily spread out hahahhaha! I def will be doing a video on this in the coming weeks! I will put a link to my go to toe socks once I get home!

In the meantime maybe you can set up a coffee table if you wanna work on the floor sometimes :)

My home office houses a table about the size of a tv tray that has a lever to move up and down and i constantly shift my laptop height. I also have a low floor table and a treadmill laptop attachment. Like you im constantly moving (even have a pull up bar in the doorframe!) I agree 100% that just standing is no bueno. Its movement that truly matters. I remember when i got a standing desk years ago it was recommended to me that i roll a tennis ball under my foot so i still remember to move SOMETHING, because standing still is not much better then sitting still.

That desk is perfect for you. Love all the extras you have floating around the room to assist in your movement. I am one that has mobility issues, my days of getting up & down on the floor are long gone. It is, what it is! I haven't forgot about sending you rental photos, just currently busy dealing with rental issues. Well....not really issues, but the AC isn't working correctly, but I personally think it "user" error. It's been a real hassle to find a company with the exact freon that my unit requires. Many phone calls, gathering information and researching new units, just a little overwhelmed at the moment. It's all good, we'll get there. Another rental experience to share.

AC issues are not fun! My property manager for my one far away house told me I need a whole new unit and I was like noooooooo! I sent my own hvac guy down there and he fixed it lolll thank goodness!!! The unit is on the older side but he said it still has plenty of life! Glad he made it down there for me even though it’s a bit out of his service area!

is this trip fold matters from amazon really a 100% cotton?
@natashatheresa2 ай бұрын
I know the shell is 100% cotton, inside is memory foam and fiber. I do a more in-depth review in this follow up video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5OXhZyeqLaYoZYsi=WkzEtOBGh4CbyeMC

@@Phoema21 hahahahaha weddings is like a whole thing but I did my best to set myself up for clients who I really would work well with who trusted me… when I was able to acquire clients I really jived with who let me make the timeline and plan out the portraits properly, then it was quite enjoyable and they referred me to others like them :) but I didn’t want to keep committing my weekends to weddings esp when I got two kids so I gave it up in 2018 haha
