i just got the air pods 4 with anc, and wow. never experienced anc before, and these fit my ears just as well as the 3’s did, so im happy. the rubber tips were never comfortable for me.

ANC is very disappointing in the gym. Not for higher frequncies. Still have to go for Pros

The pros have been on sale long enough that they can often be bought for $10-20 more than ANC 4s. $199 from Costco with AppleCare included

But what is the different between transparant mode and turn off at the ANC?

Transparency mode basically uses ANC to smartly decide how much ambient sound to let through, so it can make it sound like the earbuds aren’t blocking your ears, which is what it sounds like when just turning off ANC

Does ANC block background noise in my house so my clients on the phone can’t hear it , like my dog barking kids playing to loud?

The min question: are they fit like airpods 2? Cause all other airpods (including APP2 with any tips) are falling out of my ears.

Nope, they have a different fit than AirPods 2 for sure. For me, tey're more comfortable. I didn't like 2 and 3 much.

Yeah this is my concern. The AirPods Pro 2 were an expensive mistake for me and even replacing the tips with memory foam ones didn’t help. The noise cancellation was phenomenal though but I can’t dance run walk run or just sit down in them for long before they pop out. AirPods two I can wear till the battery runs out no problem.

I got the AirPods 4 anc. The fit is good. Similar to the 2 in the regard that I can keep them in far longer than the pros and more securely but not as good a fit as the twos it feels a bit loser in my left ear. But I’m happily wearing them every day and can dance and move and the anc is really good.

I would say for those that opt for the iPhone Pro/Pro Max, the Air Pods Pro 2 is the best choice.

for sure pro 2 comes with included cable magsafe charing lots of deals since it aint new and even with no deals, not that much more volume control hearing aids better ANC and if you dont like seal, and dont mind not having ANC and some features , AirPods 3 is better as included cable lots of deals and cheap better battery life magsafe charging (no Apple Watch charging but I think most ppl have more MagSafe than Apple Watch charger )

I opted for the AirPods 4 without the Active Noise Cancellation feature because I personally dislike it.

Remember when everyone said that Samsung was lying about ANC on their open earbuds because they didn't have a tight enough seal? So what changed with Apple? Now, all of a sudden, it's ok? 🙄🙄

The Galaxy headphones did not work that great when it comes to ANC. I got a pair from Samsung for review, and while I liked them as headphones, the ANC was really weak. With the AirPods 4, the ANC is good and noticeable. Definitely not Pro 2 or Max level, but very good.

Received the AirPods 4 ANC recently and very disappointed. With ANC on lucky to get 2 1/2 hours battery life and the ANC does not work effectively at all. Also the stem buttons are pretty much useless and they always eventually fall out of your ears - totally useless for air travel.
