I was once on an audio tour of Alcatraz, and there was a part with a horrifying sound of someone getting an axe to the head. I’m a big foley nerd so I asked an employee if they knew how the sound was made; they said the designer used melons. I think about that with every medical thing I watch
@AM-kr4pv3 жыл бұрын
I once listened to this whole radio show about foley artists, which because I was like 13 I'd never even heard of before. But yeah this was like early 00s so I listened to the radio all the time because it was what you did if you needed background noise all the time before KZbin or podcasts being mainstream. And I'm in the UK where we have BBC radio 4 which has fantastic critically acclaimed radio plays. So these were the folks who I think mostly were involved in that kind of stuff. Anyway, what I learned is that these people are amazing and kind of nuts. Like apparently this one guy would just literally be fiddling with anything they got their hands on to see how it made noise in case it could be used for work 😂. I also learned that what most people get wrong about horse hoof noises is they make it too even in rhythm but horses out their feet down in like a pattern that sounds more haphazard to us. Idk if I described that right. Probably if you're a foley nerd you know exactly what I'm trying to awkwardly express lmao.

Get yourself some pashminas. They dress up any outfit. They will keep you warm, and you can hang it over your purse if you get warm. Also dangling earrings/big hoops and wearing your hair up, also makes it look like your dressed up. Finally buy yourself a pair of metallic shoes like silver or gold. Once again they automatically make you look dressed up. Finally, the best red lipstick that looks good on you. Basically it isn’t about being dressed up, it’s about making other people think you’re dressed up. Hope this helps!

I wasn't going to say you had menopause though I was going to say I understand the intense sweating because I was going through menopause even though I'm technically male. Brief explanation. A couple of years ago it was discovered that I have insanely low male hormone levels but nobody thought to check for years so it gradually got worse. Human males can get "male menopause". It's basically profuse sweating, weight gain, hot and cold flashes, fatigue and non existent libido. Iused to sweat so much I took extra shirts with me everywhere because if I had to stay out for more than a few hours my clothes would be soaked to the point they were too uncomfortable to wear. So I understand your plight and empathize as much as one can.
