It kinda reminds me about how I taught my wife to cook soon after we got married almost 25 years ago. When we were married she could only make a couple simple dishes. She learned quickly and can cook anything with a recipe. Me, I barely look at recipes except to just get ideas of how to make new things, but I just have a knack for cooking. I think I just watched my mother and grandmother cooking when I was a kid and just absorbed the knowledge somehow.
