As a former Peets shift lead, for the matcha, we use mighty leaf ceremonial matcha powder. It is indeed an expensive powder. And the matcha powder itself isn’t sweeten, we usually sweeten it with simple syrup, (though people usually love it with vanilla syrup). Edit: I always put 2 or 3 scoops of matcha in there just because one of Peets tiny scoop not enough for the massive amount of milk.

@ normally for a medium size, they put one level scoop, their scoop is very very tiny because how expensive that matcha powder is! Normally 2 or 3 ( if you prefer your matcha very strong) heaping scoop would make them taste much much better! You can also ask them for a strawberry matcha, i think they still have the strawberry purée! Just around the cup or blend in with the matcha, it’s actually pretty good Edit: I’m glad you like the drink

I absolutely hated matcha the first time I had it, but that's because I got it from Starbucks. I drink Japanese teas 80% of the time and the rest is Masala Chai from India. I ordered ceremonial grade matchas from Amazon and tested them all at home and found my favourite Japanese matcha. I have a whole ritual when I enjoy matcha - it's zen time for me! 😊 I've tried matcha drinks from so many coffee shops around Ontario 🇨🇦 but I still prefer my matcha I make at home, unsweetened. You're so kind to offer gift cards. 😊 Of course I can't take advantage of it as I'm in Canada but I wish everyone who enters good luck.

Pete’s uses ceremonial matcha! Life Time Fitness gyms use their services in their cafes and I’m a barista, the matcha is from the brand Mighty Leaf and the pouch says which city in Japan it is sourced but I forgot lol

so friend of mine worked at starbucks for 7 years, the matcha they have is actual matcha powder but it's pre-mixed with sugar and not a high grade, I find it tastes better hot than iced and you dont get the clumps

Hi I work at a Starbucks and we just got the New and Improved Matcha ( it’s unsweetened now so you’ll have to ask for sweetener ) and for a Matcha lover myself it’s actually very good especially if you add vanilla ( I make mine with just Vanilla and Whole Milk )

From someone who loves matcha and don’t really like any of the fast chain matchas. Peets wasn’t soo bad! There was one location I use to order from that made it soo good! But definitely boba guys is pretty good!!! I use to get that strawberry matcha one with light strawberry purée😊 cause it can get too sweet!

I stopped going to Boba Guys years ago because every time I gave them a try, it was like I was drinking just milk on its own…no taste of matcha, strawberry, etc whatsoever. Paris Baguette uses the premix powder from Caffe D’Vita - so bad!

So... I used to work at 85C, and they use matcha flavored powder, their Matcha drinks are a pre made mix (could've changed since then, but i lowkey doubt it) Also, it's been like 3 almost 4 years since I've worked at 85 & I don't remember the specifics, but i do remember making a Matcha drink mix
