Her "cookbook" is simply a coffee table book to look at her pictures. She does not explain how to make the creations..."make the snakes" were her directions. She's an artist....not a cooking teacher.
@redhawkseye7099

@@baritonebynight it's not too hard to follow though. Most of the "make ___" is usually just pretty straight forward stuff if youve been around the block with baking and all. Then you'll know how to do alot of it already and don't particularly need step by step stuff. It's more advanced recipes I guess is what I'm getting around too and all in good fun to try it out a few times until you get the hang of it. 😊

Yes, I LOVE baking just for the activity, I hope I could do more of it, but I live alone and have to eat every single piece of what I make unless I have friends over, so it limits my hobby :'D I find it so interesting how much of a different outlook I seem to have to Rachel with these things, she seems to stress over the process and put up with it for the end product, while I definitely like the process, both with baking and crafts, and the end product feels kind of like a bonus? It's nice to have the thing I made, but I mostly did it for the pastime it offered 😄 Of course with baking I'm a total sugar fiend so there's that :'D

I was raised in a house with a professional cake decorator. So a lot of baking stuff was ingrained in me from a young age. Baking is relaxing for me -- but only if I'm making something I've made 100 times before. I admire Rachel's willingness to try things she's never done before in front of an audience (even if it is edited for YT). I love that you don't let the naysayers discouraged you from trying new things, Rachel. 🥰🥰🥰

You did a great job and I like yours better. This video just shows you don't have to do everything perfectly to end up with a perfect end product. I watched this with my kid, you are silly and made us laugh. We are a silly family so we can relate as well. And your edits make it that much funnier. I'm a crafter as well I'm always making mistakes and learning, then forgetting and relearning. You are doing great.

Rachel, I really appreciate how often you take creative chances and bring us along for the ride. Creativity is supposed to be fun and engaging and yes, sometimes messy and flawed! The point isn't about achieving perfection. And yet so many of us get caught up in wanting to make things perfect (I know I certainly do), to the point that we stop trying new things or taking creative chances. So I just really appreciate you showing how fun and messy and fulfilling creativity can be, especially when the end result isn't perfect. ❤

Rachel, I just wanna say... When you read the recipe for the first time you said 3 cups of flour, but when you found the measuring cup you said 4 cups! I think that maybe why you needed more milk and why your cookies turned out biscuit like! Plus all the flour you use to roll out the worms, it probably didn't help 😅 You did well though!
