As a regular at Springhead, I can confirm that the rag pudding is fantastic, and the gravy is to die for. Their treacle pork belly strips with crispy bacon and bubble and squeak is superb too. In fact, every meal I've had there is top notch and the staff are great too. Great review Danny and a well deserved 10.

Went today! Absolutely loved it 💯 the food is fresh from the farm shop! Had the hot brisket & Carolina slaw sandwich with fresh cut chips skin on, seasoned with salt & pepper! The brisket was over an inch thick! 😮 All for £9.95! Wow 🤩 So I glad I found this little gem of a place only 20 minutes from home! 😃 my new favourite place!

@ Not glazing at all mate. Every time a creator on KZbin gets success, they get full of themselves and focus more on money and also get all big headed. Ok maybe not “every time” but it’s so common. The number of small channels I’ve come across that became big & which then ended up changing the personality of the creator is crazy. They get money and notariety and start thinking their shit don’t stink no more. I’m happy Danny isn’t like that. It’s rare mate. To stay true to yourself and not let success and money change who you are. It’s at least rarer than you might think anyway. I say Danny deserves credit for that.

Yes it is chilly in Mount Tabor, Danny, the village stands 1220 feet above sea level. I have visted the Spring Head on many occassions and never been disappointed, the pub is named after the former Aspinall's Spring Head Brewery which was on the other side of the road. The pub was formally known as The New Inn, there was a tunnel under the road between the brewery and the pub for delivering the beer. The paralympic wheelchair racing gold medallist, Hannah Cockroft is originally from Mount Tabor, there is a gold painted post box in Mount Tabor and one outside Halifax Town Hall as tributes to Hannah's success.

We do have them, but prices you may struggle with as property prices and much much higher !!! I live in London and we have chippies that do a portion of chips alone for £4/5 , I was visiting Lancashire a few weeks ago and got fish chips and pease for under 6 quid 😂
