Maybe you've heard about the antishipping phenomena going on in fandom spaces (but it's also extending its claws to the original stories' literary web comm across socmed platforms); it's because of it that I found your video. Some readers/fans are getting Really Mad (some are getting Cyberbullying Mad over it, actually) at the fact transgressive fiction exists and many ppl like it. In my research, I'm a fan studies junkie, I found out "horror erotica", and I think it's a good label to popularize so we can correctly name those dark romance stories that're more about abuse porn than anything. If those stories are of good or bad taste, or even if they're well written or anything, is beyond this topic and I simply do not care cause I'm not even the target public (I can't take dark stories, I'm a fluff kinda girl); I just cannot fathom how some ppl are mad these fables exists 🥴 Maybe cathegorizing it correctly would help? Anyway, I'm rambling...
