No hate to the content creator. I just want to point out that no one should do this for weight loss, even if it's for the short term because food restriction can lead to other unhealthy habits.

It can always negatively affect your metabolism badly. When you restrict your caloric intake by this much, your body believes: hmmm, I'm not getting that much food, I think I'll slow down my metabolism to save energy because who knows when I'll have food next! Since I'm I'm restricted. This then lowers your basal metabolic rate, which is the amount of calories you burn just living- breathing, sitting there. And then now your metabolism is out of whack because of the restriction. Other unhealthy habits of restriction include binging - if you've restricted for so so long, let's say over 4 weeks, and you start heavily craving other food, you might end up eating a lot because you've cut out those foods and a psychological process happens where you want something you can't have.

Exactly !! That’s so bad for you!! When you restrict this much this intensively, you’re going to end up caving in come on . You can eat like a normal human being and still workout and be your ideal body size. I used to have a problem where I would starve my self to be skinny , but I got older finally and said fuck that lol . Now I eat whatever I want and I have the mindset that I enjoy food and stay my ideal size in a healthy way

I tried this diet for three days + intermittent fasting . ( there's no yoyo effect ) I did 2 hours of exercises for three days. Before diet Height 160cm Weight 48.7 Arm: 24cm Waist: 24 inches Upper Thigh: 55cm After diet Height : 160cm Weight : 47.5 Arm : 23.5cm Waist : 24inches Upper thigh : 53.5cm Here's the tip if u dw facw the yoyo effect Before the diet 1. One week before diet cut ur meals' portion ( half of ur normal portion ) 2. Drink at least 2.5 litter of water During the diet ( if u cut ur meal portion before this diet , this diet actually not really starving urself ) 1. Drink 3 liters of water 2. Drink 1 liter of lemon water ( lemon water really make me less to feel hungry. [for me] And i even skip one meal during this diet :) 3. Exercise for 2 hours ( i would recommend u to do emi wong' leg workout twice a day. It really helps to achieve my goals ) 4. If u feel hungry , just drink water. ( oh my gosh water really make me hate food. I even feel like i want to vomit when i see food. ) After this diet 1. Dont feast after this diet. Pls no! 2. Eat like ur normal daily meals. And u will definitely feel like ur stomach become smaller? Because normally i can eat a bowl of noddles but after this diet i only can eat half of it. So , i didnt face the yoyo effect. But if u follow my tips and u still face the yoyo effect, pls dont angry at me haha. Everyone has different body. ( sorry for my poor english ) EDIT : the protein shake i replaced with one boiled egg.

U could try ntermittent fasting. But of course the safe way. Eat the stuff from this video like normal. But instead of having a protein shake for dinner, eat your regular meal with your family. Just be sure that its not unhealthy, and that you're eating a decent amount of protein. At least thats what I would do... im no expert tho.

I mean she is in every right to (not literally of course) cause that's a crappy miserable diet, only apples and sweet potatoes? You gotta eat a variety of things, the point shouldn't be to be thin but rather to be healthy, dont eat store brought and fast food (because you dont even realise how much calories and fat those give you, waaay more than you think ) cook your own meals because that way you're in control of what goes into your food, and you make them fresh, eat three meals a day ( meals as in a plate meal not like a snack) and exercise at least an hour a day

As a gym goer, mostly the first week or two is MOSTLY water weight, If u calculate the calories in this diet it is below our BMR which is bad and makes metabolism really slow, and after you eat normally again you'll regain most of the weight due to carbs and sodium, they hold water in our body, weight loss is different from fat loss keep that in mind, and it's not sustainable, If you really want to lose fat just calculate your TDEE (google) and eat 250-500 less calories with that, I suggest try using the app myfitnesspal, buy a weighing scale for food, and exercise! enroll in gym to keep motivated and try using IF (Intermittent Fasting) meal pattern 16:8, you fast 16hours then eat in 8 hours, the reason this works wonders is you feel full while eating less due to the less time you are allowed to eat, trust me its easy to eat little while doing IF,make veggies and fruits your friends and Fiber to keep you full, don't forget QUALITY (High in Amino Acids chicken fish eggs etc.) protein! and HEALTHY fats, always expect rollercoaster weight gains and losses its normal, I suggest measure your waist measurements, neck arms etc. to know you really are losing fat and take pictures! :)

Hi! I just wanted to share my experience while doing this diet: •Just like a little highlight, I didn't make body workout bc laziness is first but I always walked the 2.5 kilometers; I replaced the Protein shake with Nesquik chocomilk (obvsly sugar free) mixed with an egg; I always drank the 2 litters by day :D At the first day I was very turned down because I was not used to eat that little, but the second day I was doing it well... At the fourth day the sweet potato started to bother me because of the texture it has, so I started to eat a little less since that day (like a quarter of sweet potato or less), but the water really helped me to get enough?) ... I rested for the seventh day, not eating all I could but eating like 800 calories. I lost 2 kilograms (Idk how much lbs they are, sorry) I tried again the next week, and just like I said, I just ate a quarter of sweet potato. I lost another 2 kilograms. Right now I'm not doing that diet bc it is actually unhealthy but I'm eating less than 800 calories, drinking the 2 litters of water and walking the 2.5 km... I've lost in total 6 kg in 17 days :) ° I can also remark that I never eaten NOTHING out of the diet. And when I'm saying nothing, I'm saying N°O°T°H°I°N°G

OK but just as a reminder, IU herself only did this diet for 3 days and even she said it was extremely unhealthy and only for short term fast weight loss. What you lose is water weight and because you switch to such low calories so fast, your body has no time to adjust and goes into starvation mode i.e. it will hold onto fat longer. So you might lose water weight but you'll gain back your weight just as fast once you stop dieting.

These videos really put into perspective how unhealthy Kpop diets are, and why fainting on stage/acting strange is such a common occurrence for all Asia's idols. The apple, fine to be honest most of us eat nothing for breakfast or grab something and run, but the problem started with the singular sweet potato, nothing else, and then just a protein shake to push for that workout, the diet essentially aims to make you feel full via drinking lots of water. This diet should be used short term, long term this is dangerous as the calories aren't enough to function properly, and throwing in exercise along with it is where it becomes extremely unhealthy, if you aren't taking in enough to normally function, then imagine that + pushing your body to exercise. This 'diet' reminds me of my disordered eating days.

Amie Lee I know, but no one's going to eat rice crispies for a meal, right? And 3 cups is still really little per meal, the worst that can happen is someone portioning their instant noodle to the size of the cup. I'm giving MY suggestion and it's not to lose weight -- this is more of like a challenge. The paper cup diet is NOT a sustainable diet and under no circumstances should anyone be only eating 9 paper cups worth of food a day.

Here's one, cook your food, and dont try buying any store bought food (e.g oreos, snickers, ramen, chips, frozen pizza etc.) or fast food When you cook your own food you have control over what's in your food, unlike with fast food, plus you don't have a deep fryer and so much oil and all that high technology that fast food restaurant use to make their fried food, have lots and lots of fruits and veggies in your fridge, 3 healthy meals a day, have strawberries and bananas and cucumbers as snacks, and of course exercise

to those who are thinking of trying this: the 3 kg she lost is mostly water weight! That happens when fasting. The amount of calories consumed in this diet is so little that it can be considered a fast! Losing water weight is effective if you have something like a big day, and fasting should really only be done for a week max; before it will give adverse effects (such as an ed, or actually GAINING weight bc your body is on an 'emergency mode'.) Only do such low calorie diets when you quickly need to lose bloating and need a flatter stumach! Never do it longterm. If you binge a single day you will gain a crap ton of weight! This is a short term option, not long term. The best diet remains eating slightly less than you burn on a daily. Your basal metabolism (what you burn in a day by simply existing) is probably somewhere around 1200-1300. If you do a small workout each day it will be a total of 1400-1500. If you eat generally 1200 to 1300 calories a day (3 meals, with all food groups included, as well as 1 or 2 small healthy snacks (fruits)) you'll be seeing long term results that will REMAIN!! Much more effective!

Is this unhealthy when you need to perform? For my dance performances I often wear cropped stuff. So I usually eat a bit less starting 2 weeks before the performance, but it's more what you said, eating slightly less than I burn in a day. I mean, since I do work on my belly muscles at lot that week, I do get a flatter stomach, but I still have fat. Would it be OK to do this diet before such a performance, or would I not have enough energy to perform?

@@kapokikkodragneel1505 I'd assume you're a dancer from what I read? Energy is created by burning incoming calories, calories you get from nutritious meals. If you don't need energy, your body will store excess calories as fats for later usage. If the pattern of eating too many calories continues, your body is incapable of burning away excess fats, and is forced to keep storing it instead, this is how you gain weight. With that in mind; Performing high intensity dance routines (i'm not a dancer, this is solely based on dietary and biological understandings) I would assume it would make you need stamina a lot more than usual (same for any sporter). Which would mean using this diet pre-performance will make you perform badly, or atleast without energy. What you can try to do is attempt the diet as a little experiment in your free time, then after a week or so perform your performance wherever you usually practice (a dance studio?), just for yourself; and test if your energy levels are up to standards. That would give you a pretty good indication of whether you can't or can use this diet pre-performance! However, something important to keep in mind is to know your limits. Fasting is never good for the body, when handled properly however, physical damage is minimized. If you feel like you can't go on with the diet then return to your original diet. Your body knows when to call it quits, listen to your gut feeling! (On another note, I wish you luck with whatever type of performance you do! I'm rooting for you!!)

Like, if I don't have any energy on the 3rd day, I feel like there won't be a point in even going on with it. And yes it's dance performances. Thanks again for the advice

ok, hey, whoever is reading this: you are beautiful and you don't have to lose weight, you are worthy and everyone has a different body. I had an ED and it sucked, and I still have issues with my body but that's ok cuz we're all insecure at one point, but you, you are beautiful and so what if you don't look like an idol? your weight doesn't define you. eat healthy please and exercise the healthy amount and laugh, smile, spend time with yourself and people that make you happy. take care of yourself. please. you are beautiful 💜 edit: I'm not talking about people who morbidly obese or whatever, I'm talking about people who are struggling with body image/insecurities and ED's, being obese/overweight is not healthy at all and so is being underweight. I'm just trying to tell everyone that they are beautiful, and if someone is obese then they should get professional help because it's serious

You're right. I have an ed but i'm recovering, and I think that with that diet you eat more or less 500 calories a day, it's not enough...eating makes happy, it gives energy...it's so beautiful💕

So in conclusion if you eat only apple, protein shakes, sweet potatoes and drink lots of water and go on long walks and do full body workouts every day you can lose 3-4 kg in a week!
