@@danielbalderas9796 Sure. Sodium bicarbonate is chemically NaHCO3 that decomposes into Na2CO3 (sodium carbonate) CO2 (carbon dioxide) and H2O (water) on high temperature if heated in solid form. None of the products are toxic. The brutto hemical equation of the thermal decomposition: 2 NaHCO3 -> Na2CO3 + CO2 + H2O. If heated in solution this reaction does not occur.

It would been better to salt it for a few hours then pressurize the marinade into it with a vacuum seal, that way the texture changes and the flavor is more enhanced. With all the vegan alternatives, esp in California, yall need to leave watermelon alone lmao

I was browsing some vegan recipes to get lunch ideas and I found this woman trying to make pizza from watermelons. She used a cut watermelon as the "crust". It wasn't even vegan? She uses cheese and animal bases toppings. Plus, pizza crust is already vegan by default so what's the point?

@@sonia613 haha true! I just feel like watermelons have a very different texture from meat and meat changes colour when cooked even if its meant to be a medium-rare.
