"It's better to be honest than impressive." What a fabulous insight. I wrote this down in my journal of quotes I keep. There's a Matt moment in almost every video, where you give a humble and subtle observation that most would miss. I really think that's the best part of your work. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I found myself wanting more at the end! I don't really know how you felt about any of it: how much you enjoyed doing the program, whether it had an impact in how you felt overall, how you'd compare it to other similar interventions you've done in the past (walking 10k steps, yoga).

It' the same thing. Except when it comes to yoga you are usually engaging your body, mind and your soul or spirit with it, to connect with a higher power. But there are over 800,000 yoga poses, so most things you do to stretch could be considered a yoga pose.

Yes!!! The difference in what I can do at CrossFit/weightlifting five years ago when I started (I squatted by sitting on a box and standing up) to today (overhead squats with a 100+ lbs barbell) is absolutely due to daily mobility training!!
@pixelpondering

This video was so relevant to me. I never thought about my mobility until last year when all of a sudden, lower back pain hit FAST and HARD and I could barely move at all for months. I know it's not exactly the same, but I learned it was due to weakness in my back muscles that significantly reduced my mobility. I couldn't do normal things like even lift up my legs high enough to climb stairs. I'm a bit better now but I need to i corporate more time in my day to do exercises like you did to continue improving.

Bodyweight Warrior/Tom Merrick has loads of free follow-alongs. After doing one of those every day for a month, I felt noticeably...better overall. It's hard to describe, but in general less achy/tight. I went from being unable to touch my toes/squat to being able to much quicker than I thought possible. I'm unsure how much of the "feeling better overall" improvement is genuine and how much is placebo. But, for my n of 1 and the truly minimal investment of my time required (15-20 minutes/day) I'd say it was well worth incorporating into my daily life.

I would love your help on something. I am a very frugal person someone who always wants the best for my money. I have been shopping at the cheapest supermarket for years and I hate it. Its so depressing its so dark and filled with people who look so unhappy. This supermarket takes me 15 mins drive to get to it and I tend to buy certain brands of things. I find that the more healthy option which i buy is the more expensive choice at this place. I have two other supermarkets under 5 mins drive from me which i have always said were too expensive for me to shop at but I have been recently finding that some of the products I buy are the same price here as at the cheaper supermarket and sometimes even cheaper. I find shopping at the cheaper supermarket I am tending to only want to do a huge shop once every 2 months so I don’t have to go in there again as hate it so much. But this is leading my me hoarding huge lots of food in cupboards In my kitchen than don’t fit into my pantry. I find I also have to settle for the lesser not to healthy thing as my first option tends to be out of stock alot. I find that buy the time I get around to using the lesser option I have got the better one from the other place and so the other is surplus and gifted away to someone else. I also find that I ration food and try and make it last as long as possible sometimes going hungry to avoid going back to the place so often. Is this a case of there are refunds on your time. I can pop to the more upmarket place once a week and get what we need and not waste of ration food. But I am still thinking I need to save every penny and shop at the cheaper place
