@@OrikusMMZI love how you're trying to make it seem like people are being unreasonable. Nobody is trying to "erase champs." But maybe if Jon doesn't feel up to the task of defending against the rightful #1 contender he shouldn't be champ anymore. It's fine though, we'll finally move on from all this bullshit soon in November when the geezers have their meaningless legacy fight.
@storm50132 ай бұрын
@@OrikusMMZ What do you mean by "erase champs"? If someone gets beaten by new contenders they're not a real champ and that's just how it goes. UFC is trying to synthetically create champions of out guys who don't deserve the title, it's not good for the sport. Ideally they should throw everything at the "champ" and if they make it through unscathed, they found the guy who truly deserves the title.

The year is 2052. Jon Jones has been heavyweight champion for over 29 years. He has 4 title defenses. Despite only having 4 matches in 29 years, Dana White declares that he’s still active. He’s just had some injuries and Dana is constantly arguing about how poorly The new artificially created (Al) pound for pound list is. He doesn’t understand how Jones isn’t ranked number 1. Tom Aspinall retired in the year 2050 having been the interim champion for 26 years where he defended his title 71 times. But he never got his unification match with Jones. Jones always said that Tom was a random nobody and he chose to face legends instead. Jones defended his title against Stipe, 55 year old Anderson Silva, 70 year old Bas Rutten and finally 72 year old Fedor to prove he’s greatest heavyweight of all time. Jones hasn’t had a title defense in 5 years but Dana claims he’s working on something big. Royce Gracie is heavily rumored. After Aspinall’s retirement with 71 interim title defenses, Dana White was asked about Aspinall going into the hall of fame. Dana said “we don’t owe this kid anything, least of all the hall of fame: the hall of fame is for undisputed champions, and that’s Jones. Maybe if we ever make an ”interim hall of fame”, Tom can join”. MMA Outsiders

This is awesome! Followed you here from Magnus channel. I feel like the finger strength and grip strength from climbing can actually help wrestlers and judo fighters quite a bit. Remember to try to bring your hips into the wall as much as possible to get all your weight over the foot holds. Also with the way the shoe is bending on that problem at 12:20, I think the rental shoes are holding you back a little bit- with some better fitting shoes you're gonna feel so much more confident over those foot holds. Looking forward to your future fights and would love to see Magnus take you lead or top rope climbing!
@MMAisTHEbestSPORT082 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, and i dont know of its an individual thing or bad habits or genuine physical science, but I think combat sports, specifically striking heavy sports like boxing, muay thai, kickboxing, MMA etc. Will degrade your grip strength. The more your fists are conditioned to punch and your knuckles are hardened, the less you have grip strength. I could be wrong, I havent noticed any loss on grip, if anything ive noticed a gain, but maybe thats because im 16 and still going through puberty.

Since you probably don't know, FYI in most if not all gyms, puffing the magnesium all over the crash padding is considered bad etiquette, so refrain from doing that in the future :D I know it wasn't your intention, I wish Magnus told you the first time you did it, people fall on that surface and it can get into the clothes, hair etc. if the ground has a lot of magnesium on it, and the employees need to clean it up. Try to spread it into your hands inside/above the chalkbag/container as much as possible. Loved this crossover with Magnus, two of my favourite worlds colliding like this is really surreal I love it, hope to see more climbing content, but I understand most of your focus has to be in MMA.
