For the levels after the ghost house in world 5, you need to get the secret exit to advance normally. That applies for both the levels. Both levels have secret exits. If you get the normal exits, you will go backwards. Also, in the ghost house, there is a secret exit that leads to W7. And in 5-2 their is a secret exit that goes to 5-6 and 5-7
