Hey Cameron I actually have the white 1000hz version of the mouse and really enjoy the product. Here are some of my thoughts: -In my testing my front and back buttons sound roughly the same and my scroll wheel is loud but not as loud as yours is so there may be some differing based on quality control. -I have medium to smaller hands and actually feel that the grip is great for me, the side scroll wheel is in perfect position and I’ve noticed that using the main side scroll wheel in programs like excel works much better than using side tilt -I admit the materials do not feel as premium and the wheel is loud but I mainly use the infinite scroll for web page navigation and have a great experience -the lightweight aspect of the mouse I think is very useable for casual gaming -Overall I would say no this mouse does not stack up with MX Master 3s, BUT for $50 if you are budget conscious want an ergonomic mouse with forward/back buttons a side scroll wheel and infinite scroll wheel then it’s a great option

It seems like a mouse that is for people who want to game but also have the productivity of the mx 3 and not hurt their arms in both use cases, and painting the reason for it's existance as a negative, over and over, is a weird decision
@dustingibson408729 күн бұрын
A weird hack to make the scroll wheel bearable. I take a staple, bend the ends so it will be a straight line. Then jam it into the crevasse on the edge of the button used to change the scroll wheel mode. You may need to vary the deepness how you jam it, but fortunately it does stay put for good once you do it. This will put some resistance onto the scroll wheel where it's doesn't have that giant awkward step to make a single scroll and it isn't loud as a jet taking off. Bonus plus is that if you scroll with enough force, it kind of switches into an infinite scroll wheel.

1. For me, it's very comfortable to grip and hold. 2. Side click scroll is super helpful as well, and it supports contentious scroll unlike you said it doesn't. I use that for volume control as I watch a lot of videos. Besides, why would you need that as you have the side scroll button! 3. The only dealbreaker you mentioned is truly a deal breaker is the scroll wheel SUCKS.

I don’t have an Mx master but i can assure you that 1000hz polling rate is so much better than he standard 125 on Mx master. The functionally of the m6 Keychron is superb, it directly connect to my iPad without any hiccups and does not need an application to configure the mouse’s side scroll. It is unfortunate it doesn’t not fit your hands ergonomically but the mouse is better in every other aspect. This comment is just an opinion not an attack towards Cameron.

pity the material of the mx master after 2 to 4 years melt as glue. If logitech produced a "all-plastic no rubber" mx master 3 I would buy it for sure, but unfortunately it does not exists...
@riccardofoschi2 ай бұрын
I also bought the M6 keychron, and honestly I find it great! both in terms of ergonomics for my hand (and I'm very picky with ergonomics) and the weight which I actually dig being lighter than MX. I mildly miss the lack of thumb pad gestures, I used the play pause and volume up down a lot, but I've remapped the same controls on other keys of the mouse and I'm already used to it so not a big deal. The only real thing I miss is the complete lack of software specific key remapping. I hope they'll update the software with this feature. Other than that the white version looks more premium than the black one even if it might get dirty faster. And last but not least this mouse is not made of that fracking metling rubber that Logitech always put on its products. I had mx for 2 years and it melted completely getting sticky, which is why I moved to Keychron. So this feature alone makes it 100% better than MX sadly.

@@riccardofoschi Glad I found your personal review. I have the Logi M720 for so long that it's almost melted out since my palms are sweaty and my country is hot and humid. Bought grip tapes just to salvage the mouse. Exactly the point why I'm hesitating from the mx masters, because it's still the same material rubber :( no matter how reviewers would praise it, eventually it will still melt out.

@@riccardofoschi Regarding the issue of lack of software specific key remapping, you could download X-Mouse Button Control to do it instead. It seems to work fine for what I need it for.

I tried gaming with the Master... Not a great idea. The polling is a problem. Also, I think they overengineered it too much. A simple cover with one battery and i´m happy. No internal battery, no gimmicky rubber that dissolves.

Man now I am back to square one. I had high hopes for this as the MX Master has terrible polling rate and this one seemed to have everything the MX Master had with 1k polling.
@Mikri90Ай бұрын
I can live with MX Master 3's polling rate, in-fact, other than noticing that initially when I got it, I don't even stop to think about it. Which was 2 years ago. The benefits greatly outweigh that, and I don't game with it (it sucks for that) so it's my main everyday mouse and my photo editing mouse. If I game I have a different mouse for that. However I hate that they thought whatever that material finish/outer layer is made of was a good idea. Geez Logitech just give a high quality plastic mouse. Mine is tolerable still but it's showing significant signs of wear. It's also only a matter of time until it starts getting sticky to the touch. And I am among the lucky ones, people who sweat more can chew threw that outer layer in 6 months, as I have heard.

Re: scroll wheel tilt sensitivity: doesn't windows' mouse options in Control Panel account for how many characters to scroll when tilting a mousewheel? The option is no longer in Windows 10/11 settings page, but it's definitely supported through Control Panel

hey I'm actually confused between getting my self a Logitech anywhere 3 or Logitech m650L or Logitech g305/304 which will be a better purchase , all these are available to me at around similar pricing , need good economics for editing and yes customisation for buttons so I can do horizontal scrolling needed while editing. Please Reply 🙏

Rubber on my mice wears out very quickly, so I got interested to see mouse without rubber. Also mx master is too heavy for me (I use lighter mouse, bit I miss the logitech scroll wheel). Sad that you don't like the ergonomics, that is the main selling point of mx master, which this clone tries to emulate.
@aggeloskoumaniotis4 ай бұрын
My original mx master has started showing quite a few signs of wear after 8 years of use. I love the ergonomics of this mouse and weirdly prefer them over the mx master 3 because of the lower arch. I am searching for a replacement mainly for productivity use and I really don't know what to get. I have read that the soft touch material of the mx master 3s wears out very fast and having a polling rate higher that 125hz sounds nice. The m6 on paper was the perfect mouse, but in reality from what you said it is a failed execution. Do you have any recommendations for ergonomic productivity mice other than the mx master 3s ?
@Mikri90Ай бұрын
You have heard right. My hands barely sweat at all and mine is just a bit over 2 years old, and while it's still ok and tolerable, the outer layer is showing clear signs of aging, even peeling off in some places. My guess that in another year or two it's gonna get real ugly. But it's such a good mouse overall, that I don't even care about the polling rate. I really, really live for the day when Logitech realizes this and doesn't intentionally cripple their mice with outer layers that are going to fall apart so easily. Come on Logitech, just give us a hard, plastic shell MX Master. Did you find any alternatives?

The Logitech master MX3s worst product ever, cheap build inside, switches are so cheap that are rated for 5million clicks, mine died a year and half in and warranty issued is so terrible it is only for 1year only and where most logitech products are for 2 years, this review is a prob sponsored by logitech or something, as if it was I question the logic behind buying a logitech

On the MX or the Keychron?
@grinster3994 ай бұрын
I bought the Keychron M6 1000hz mouse for my Mac Studio, but returned it under warranty for a full refund. I actually liked almost everything about the mouse, except that - it was a bit laggy at times (just standard, non-taxing productivity tasks), however the deal killer was that it had appalling battery life. The battery would fully expire after less than 7 days light, daily use, even losing 10-12% charge overnight when the mouse was actually, physically switched off. I now have (and love) a Logitech MX Master 3s. btw ... I have a Keychron Q6 Pro keyboard, which I also love! Perhaps the best (productivity use) keyboard that I have ever owned.
