I’ve noticed the letter “D” hanging on the Christmas tree for the last few days and wondered if it’s someone’s initial or some other significance? I have one of the Lakeland heated airer’s they’re fab. I do find running a dehumidifier makes it most effective and keeps condensation and mold at bay

Our soup maker is older but from experience I find washing the soup maker immediately after serving works best for clean up. We love ours though! Enjoy

I bet you can make all sorts of things in the soup maker. I found out that many things can be done in a rice cooker too. The rain has stopped here. Winter is the dreariest season.

The rain is awful. I wanted to pop to Newport but we usually go over the old bridge via Aust but it’s closed and it’s such a long way to use the motorway to use the new bridge... hopefully this Storm will pass

I got the same soup maker and love it. I’ve had the worst cold so have lived on homemade soup everyday, a 😮different one every day I might add. Nothing nicer than homemade soup

My son who is 19 got the Lego Insect collection from my mom and had the same reaction as Izzy 😂. He loved Lego when he was little, it’s nice to see him doing the adult sets.

I love my soup maker. I can’t tolerate onion or garlic. I use garlic infused oil, the green tops of spring onion and leeks. Chives. I’m gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant and onions and garlic. I have the same soup maker as you, I don’t bother doing sauté, I just bung everything in. I loved Ghosts too. 👻 Re: Spicy food: Add dairy, citrus or sugar to calm it down. x

I notice that you use the stove to reheat foods, is there a reason for that over using the microwave? I can't remember the last time I used the stove for that..as the micro is so handy and fast. My friend got that same Lego set for Xmas and just loves it. I can see a lot of creamy soups in your future... ha.
@mariannetuite7411 Жыл бұрын
I find the choice of either using the hob to reheat versus microwave depends on what type of food is being reheated. Pasta tends to get overly soft in the microwave, and cream can split more easily because of hot spots and having less control over the heat of the microwave. Something like the soup though, I would do that in the microwave.
@David.M. Жыл бұрын
I think Americans are much more likely to use a microwave. When my wife makes tea, she uses the microwave. We do not have an electric kettle.
@mariannetuite7411 Жыл бұрын
