I was actually saying to myself how good you looked reviewing this fitness product when you said the above. You were doing great, why the subtle self deprecating comment? It reminded me of about 3 years ago when you did something similar doubting your performance on your videos. I commented about that back then, too, and I pointed out that you must be doing a great job because of all the views you were getting. Space age resistance bands, pretty much. The motors are good for variable resistance throughout the movement which might be better for higher rep sessions. As Shosh pointed out, a deadlift with the handles being wobbly would feel incredibly weird compared to plates on a barbell.

I love my speediance- wish it came with her though 🤪. But honestly, if this was available 15 years ago I would of bought one just to have for when I couldn’t get to the gym or when they were closed over holidays etc. but now i rely solely on this and a squatz apollo board and I am still able to keep the same size and some progress as when I lifted weights (granted I was never a strong guy)

I love my gym master 2. Its way harder than training with free weights because you cant cheat. Constant tension on your muscles. I like the assist mode when you get close to failure. I can only advice people to buy this.

Tom this is hands down THE best video I think you've ever done. You've sold it to me. I just need 3 grand unless you fancy lending it to me until 100kg is too light 😂 Couple of questions, does it still get used or is it gathering dust? (I've found I tend to collect gym equipment that gets tucked away just like your treadmill) Any downsides as of yet? Have you tried the rowing add-ons? Shosh mentions the lack of stability, is this something that could pose a problem or can it be seen as a positive, it being a good way to work on control/stability etc. Or both I guess. Last but not least, can we do a house swap please? I'm extremely envious of your set-up and think it would work well for me 😂

Is the maximum resistance 100kg per cable (so 200kg using them with the bar) or 100kg total (so 50kg per cable)? 100kg is a bit low but 200kg is all most people would need. This really needs voice commands though. Being able to get into position on say a bench press with zero weight is great. But if you're benching heavy you want to be gripping with both hands as you engage the weight.

I think on the barbell it would be better if it had single mount in the middle for both wires. It would be less jittery movement, but the same time would risk of decapitation increase massively haha

Seems like a very cool piece of tech. However, the only real gripe I've got with this video is the seemingly intentional avoidance of any prices mentioned. Either for the machine or the subscription and which models do and do not have the lifetime membership included. That as well as there being no comparison to existing competitors, probably due to this being an ad and not a proper review.

You should have talked more about the shortcomings. 100kg isn't enough for most of the people in the long run, the handles are close together and not high enough for a lot of exercises. Tonal allows way more adjustments
