While it didn't deliver on all the promises, Fable 1 still remains the best of the series. That said, I really enjoyed all 3 games. They were just fun, back in a time when games could just be fun, and not need deep story lines and crushing difficulties.

I've always played a good character for some reason I couldn't bring myself to do most of the evil deeds on the Fable games. I've never seen the strike choice for the mercenary mission so that was a big shock to me how brutal it was.

I remember in Fable 1 or 2(so long ago) the more evil deeds you did you would grow horns and people would cower from you and you had flies around your head. If you were good you'd have a halo and people would cheer when you walked by. If you were a stealth character and did your missions at night your skin was pale from lack of sunlight. If you did your mission during the day your skin would be tan. As you got older you tan skin would start to look rough.

the economy system was pretty cool, i remember going around and buying as much property as possible and then if you come back to the game days/weeks later you get all of the taxes. i can’t remember exactly how much money i got once but i hadn’t played in like over a year and when i came back it was an absurd amount lol. literally went around and bought every single shop and house possible

Loved this game and the ability to just buy houses without visiting them physically 😂😂. Quite a few good additions and a few dumbed down things, but as a Fable Fan I still enjoyed it! Many improvements over the previous game and the world doesn't seem as empty or boring.

Sometimes the bad option isnt the best one to chose if you want to be a little evil. Keeping Saker alive keeps the mercenaries there which adds prostitutes to that area Also keeping the chickens alive adds chicken race gambling

The combat in fable 3 is the easiest thing ever. But the problem is, ITS SO LONG! I played through the whole game without dying. I also like how you can keep playing and doing quests once the game ends.

You should look into this 2004 action rpg called "Vampire the masquerade: Bloodlines" the original game that's on steam is a buggy mess but there's an unofficial patch that can run the game on modern systems bug free and at 1080p 60 fps

there is even a place to "sacrifice your wife/husband" to be more evil... also if you truly wanna break the game, yet still be evil, evict everyone before you become king/queen in all the lands making everyone homeless, but put several billions into the kingdom vault. 1 gold = 1 person saved, so filling it with like 30 billion makes the crowds so big your game glitches 🤣🤣
