Lol. I “accidentally” moved into this house. My legacy folks finally saved up enough to move into a not crappy build. They had several kids and needed more space for less money. I found this high on the gallery and loved it. As I started tweaking some of the things for my play, I started to recognizing some style choices and landscaping, hmm..... I bounced back out and saw who built it and laughed. I couldn’t wait to see it on the channel. Great build and am loving living in it!!!

Funnily enough, your builds are definitely a lot better for someone like me who cant stand things clipping or not looking right because of bad ocd. Like Kate Emerald's builds are gorgeous but as soon as I look at them for too long and notice the clipping I get super stressed. I do wish i knew what shaders or whatever you used, though!!!

Actually, I was building a 20x20 vet clinic yesterday for Magnolia Promenade and was reminded why I hate some of the standard base game doors... they look fine in dark colors until you zoom out, then there's this weird dotted line along the top (between the door and the door frame) and it drives me crazy! Most of the newer doors don't have this issue and I'm playing on the highest settings so IDK WTF is going on or why they have this issue but it really bothers me. (There are also tile and wooden floor I'd like but when you zoom in or out their lines start looking weird and I'm just like... WHY?) And then of course doors of different heights even if they're all technically shorter wall frame doors... and then the weird doors that are beautiful but have blue/green for the actual door and there's no plain dark brown frame and door (not unlike the gate situation.) One of the newer doors with lovely shapes along the top has a brown frame and green door and it's beautiful but I just wanted all brown for the doors in this build. (Ended up choosing the black version since it looked slightly less weird and all of the bathroom items were black so it matched that. Ironically, the kitchen was blue so a blue door would've worked but the door was this beautiful jade green instead. Even when it's lovely, I can't win. ^_^;)

When i first started playing the sims 4 i didnt know the gallery existed so when i would watch sims builds on youtube i thought they were tutorials and i'd take ages to replicate them, which was really hard as oftentimes the build is sped up in the videos

I only played sims 3 in the past but I think it involved downloading the files and putting them in folders. But that also meant youd have to exit out of the game everytime you wanted to use someone's build or sim! And the loading screen was sooo long. The gallery is so fast and convenient for sure

Most builds are what some of us would call "massive" suburban style homes with pools and huge patios. I'm from Ontario so we have some big suburban homes and unfortunately, occasional McMansions, but big cities like Toronto have much smaller houses. Think two stories, a basement and the main floor being around 13x7 tiles, and you have a fully-detached middle-class house. I know what I said isn't really related and may seem random but I mean to fully support this idea as it's something I am familiar with, even though I don't live in Britain. I apologise for rambling.

So, I think I should tell you that you have inspired me to tear down every in game build and replace it with my own on my current save. I am designing a Rags to Ritches world for my Sim Morganna Lefay and have assgined different build challenges to every world. So far: Sulani is Tiny Homes Every house is under 100 tiles, New Crest is Shell Challenges, Glimmer brook is 1 most expensive, 1 least expensive and a general starter house, Windenburg is the packs challenges. I have only just finished Sulani today, and will move to New Crest but you started it lol.

Sims 2 also had the pre-built houses to fit on the different lot sizes in a few different styles so you could plop them down and change just a few things and make a whole neighbourhood which looked realistic (back when you could place lots wherever- i.e. heaven). I used to use those to start with.

dry cereal really does hit different. like, I used to bring a baggie of cereal to school for snack. also: milk is weird, I try to never consume straight-up milk (i usually do almond milk) but sometimes we run out and if i want "wet"(?) cereal, i just use regular milk.

Some cereals dry are actually really good like fruity pebbles, fruit loops, honey bunches of oats and etc.

I have spent hoouurrrsss trying to make floor plans for smaller houses but this week I decided to make an apartment building and made it like boomerang shaped. Easy. Each side is an apartment and it literally took 2 seconds to just look at it and just see the floor plan inside the apartment. But pure rectangles are the worst I agree I struggle with those the most.

the cereal story reminds me back when I was a kid there was a snack that just using the dry cereal, they advised it to use milk but I and most of the other kids are just eating them as they are, they sell it in this little packaging so we usually bring them when we are going to park or something, and that was good, dry cereal is underrated 😂

I love the upgrade stairs got, but I still want to have curved and spiral staircases. I vaguely remember having a house with a spiral staircase in the Sims 3

I have an idea for a video! How about building everything backwards? For example you start out with your furniture, place it around, build walls around it, then you have to move the rooms you made around to build the shell of the house? I don’t know if that makes sense but to me it sounds fun!

Challenge idea: Build a house, but in each room/part of the house, you have to spin a wheel to choose one piece of furniture that you can’t use. Ex: you’re furnishing a bedroom and the wheel says no bed. I hate to beg for likes, but I’d really like to see Kayla do this so if you left a like I would really appreciate it!
